Interesting place. If an LBI shore bar dropped from the sky and landed next to the old Englishtown Flea Market grounds, you'd have the Mainbrook Tavern. Best suited for non winter visits, as the majority of the property is outdoors, with tables, a roof, and fire pits. The indoor part is a large bar area, and outdoor entertainment is what this place is about.

Most horrible customer service experience.lack of crowd control no room fire Marshal should check this place when they have a band ..they take no reservations..poor service if you want to order anything..could not tell you about the food .ordered and never got my money back or the food .complained and was treated like garbage by a child oh a young group of girls they called maybe hostesses. Not sure they were so in appropriate and truly it was the owners fault but the staff. Would never go back ..tables taken for six people with two at it. go anywhere else if you truly want to have a nice dinner and music I won't name the band but wherever they play should be under control they are not famous then you would I guess have a ticket and some organized event.

I ordered a rum BUCKET and the bartender/manager Joe gave me a rum punch ..very very small drink . Charged me $15...rum bucket is $18...when I questioned it he was not accommodating at all. My wife and many friends have frequented the place alot and we have ordered rum bucket every time plus several other drinks and food. His unwillingness to budge shows he doesn't care about his customers.
The other people I was with also complained they were charged for more than they bought.
I have been here twice to watch bands and have a cocktail. The drinks are awful. My party and I ordered 6 different drinks during the two visits and not one was good. The bar is massive and takes up the entire room where the bands play. If you sit anywhere else, because the bar is usually packed, shockingly, then you can’t hear the music. This place has such potential but at $15 a cocktail, they need to step it up.

Very disappointing food and everything is way over salted making it unpalatable. Burger like a well done puck (medium was ordered) and wings are just charcoal. Nice ambience customer service and good vibe inside.
