Nice atmosphere but the food was mediocre at best. Had the rueben egg rolls and they had next to no meat and mostly lettuce and no taste! The beet salad was all arugula and tiny little pieces of beets. I don't know how you can call that a beet salad. The filet mignon was cooked to our liking but had no flavor/no seasoning at all and the same with the mashed potatoes. The red wine demi glaze steak sauce totally missed the mark and the shepherds pie was mostly potatoes and hardly any meat. The restaurant has potential but the food needs flavor and more of the meats for dishes that contain it. The meatball appetizer was very good though. Too bad..could've been our “go to' place.

The food was very good. We ordered a house salad to start which was more than enough for the 2 of us. You used to be able to order it as a side (smaller) with your meal. I wish that they would bring this back. My husband ordered the filet mignon, it was prepared as requested. He enjoyed it. I ordered the pan seared salmon over asparagus risotto. The salmon was good but the risotto left a little to be desired. It came with fried leeks on top which weren't very tasty and hard to chew. The server came by a few times to check on us,during our meal. However, once we were done eating she was nowhere to be found.

Very good food - made a reservation for four and all of the dishes (two pizzas, Goat Cheese Puffs, Kung Pao Cauliflower, Creole Crab Cakes, burger) were very good. Noisy so hard for conversation, but a nice dinner spot.

It was our first time back to the newly refurbished Old Silver Tavern. Walking in was a shock to the system, as it no longer was the dark and shabby previous Old Silver. The menu was very focused which is usually a good sign, as what they are offering will be good and fresh, which it was. We had an order of mussels in the white wine sauce which was excellent, then for entrees we had the ribs, the sole and the hanger steak. All three were prepared differently than we've had before, and we enjoyed all three. The real surprise was the desserts, where we had the rainbow cake and the cheesecake. OMG, they were both excellent. We will be returning soon.

Just brought 2 friends there for lunch. My friend and I both had the seafood omelet with fruit and it was outstanding! My other friend had the chicken sandwich and loved that, too. Taylor was our waitress and said she would advise the chef of how much we liked the whole brunch!
