Nice atmosphere but the food was mediocre at best. Had the rueben egg rolls and they had next to no meat and mostly lettuce and no taste! The beet salad was all arugula and tiny little pieces of beets. I don't know how you can call that a beet salad. The filet mignon was cooked to our liking but had no flavor/no seasoning at all and the same with the mashed potatoes. The red wine demi glaze steak sauce totally missed the mark and the shepherds pie was mostly potatoes and...
The food was very good. We ordered a house salad to start which was more than enough for the 2 of us. You used to be able to order it as a side (smaller) with your meal. I wish that they would bring this back. My husband ordered the filet mignon, it was prepared as requested. He enjoyed it. I ordered the pan seared salmon over asparagus risotto. The salmon was good but the risotto left a little to be desired. It came with fried leeks on top which weren't very tasty and hard...
Very good food - made a reservation for four and all of the dishes (two pizzas, Goat Cheese Puffs, Kung Pao Cauliflower, Creole Crab Cakes, burger) were very good. Noisy so hard for conversation, but a nice dinner spot.
