Yearns to be a high end Chinese restaurant and has the prices to match, unfortunately the taste and quality are held to much lower standards. Fish and seafood should not have that awful fishy smell. Veggies should be bright and crisp. You can go to another good quality Chinese restaurant and either get twice the amount of food for the same price….or same good quality food for half the price. Staff is attentive but sometimes seems “annoyed and bothered” and is strictly there to take your order and your tip. Used to be much better. Probably seek another restaurant out for Chinese food. Disappointing

The food is great! The service is great! The drinks are great, but…they use cheap alcohol, and I always have a Hanover the next day! I always ask for greygoose or Tito’s, but I don’t think that’s the liquor in the drink!

Have gone here a few times, was always enjoyable, big portions, great service, a little pricey.."get what you pay for" So wife and I just wanted take-out, ordered sesame chicken which was on dry side because the meal had no sauce, and that we split.We also ordered two filet mignon egg rolls, which had the smallest amount of meat in it..We always order the egg rolls because they are so good, won't be ordering them again, also the white rice that came with the meal was not cooked,very hard, not edible...totally disappointed. 4.4. 2025

Asian cuisine is my favorite, and this restaurant might very well serve the finest of its kind. Our waiter, Chris, went above and beyond, making our first visit so wonderful. The sesame shrimp was delicious, and the fried rice was the best I've ever tasted. Get there early on a Friday/Saturday because this place gets packed!

I have been a Manalapan resident for many years and visited Peking Pavilion many times. I had a takeout lunch order for myself and my son, Both dishes were not very good. Hot and sour soup was like jello and no flavor. MY wonton soup was good, but a whole container of broth with only two wontons. Imperial chicken had no flavor. No spice or kick to it at all. More like sesame chicken. My pineapple chicken was bland and also no flavor to sauce. Very disappointed, as I was looking forward to a great lunch treat that I enjoyed in the past. I will not take the chance on going back again.

Pricy, food was warm, not hot and service was abrupt. Took away rice bowl for example, while I was still eating. Stood next to me while I was putting leftovers in takeaway with his hand on my plate. I've eaten there many times and enjoyed it, but the last two have been totally disappointing. It'll be awhile before I try again
