This is not the first time; I just never took the time to review. I frequent Starbucks a lot, my favorite coffee shop but I have to say the one in Manalapan has to be the worst one when it comes to service turn-around time. I was there on Friday 24th. on my way to a Dr. appt. I walk in order a normal black coffee which I received right away. I also ordered a latte which took over 20 mins to get, at the 10 minute mark I asked for a status and a fake smiling associate said they were very busy and I would be served soon [tic toc], so now I am at the 20 minute mark I now complain as people are walking in & out after me with their coffee, and smiley looks at my receipt and looks over to barista list and realizes my order wasn't there, so she literally sneaks over to make it within 30 seconds hands it to me and say's "have a wonderful day" again with that annoying fake smile, no apology for delay or that she was wrong insisting it was on the way, and the latte was terrible [no effort put into making it]. And one last thing, as I am sharing my frustration, she's complementing the barista on how great of a job she is doing [almost mocking me]. I know it's just a cup of coffee, but when I spend $15 for 2 coffees I expect to be served with respect, she was a waste of an employee and should not be serving the public. This review for the Manalapan Shop was long overdue and am sure a lot of people will agree!

Super disorganized, employees fighting while there were customers waiting for drinks, drink was barely full, had to wait for 15 minutes for just one drink. never going to this location again

Visited this location on Sundays afternoon. It was not too busy. The barista was in a bad mood when she took my order. When she was making my drink, she was throwing things around because she screwed up a drink prior to mine. When she was making my drink, she was not paying attention and overfilled my drink with milk spilling all over the counter. Got annoyed, took a second cup, poured out some of the coffee, and added a drop of whip. When she threw my coffee on the counter, I tasted it right away. It had so much milk that you could not taste anything else in it. I said i am sorry to bother you, but can you please remake my drink with less milk? She said with attitude. You ordered a latte that's what a late is supposed to be. I said i am sorry, I have bren drink this same drink for over 20 years, and this one doesn't taste like it. She took got mad and started making the drink, and this time only gave me half of a cup of coffee on purpose. I asked what her name was as she didn't have a name tag, wonder why..... she said u do not need my name. I asked for the manager and she said there he is so what. I asked the manager to come here she stood there. I said to Zesar, the manager. Is this the way a barista is supposed to speak to a customer???? And he starred at me, not knowing what to do or say. I said, "Can I please have her same?" He did not move he just kept looking at her and me. He was terrified of her as she said my name is Jessica, so what. What are you going to do. I said to the manager, "Do you listen and take her talking to me, and you like that?" He still did not say a word. She said, very loud, don't worry, he will get me later and write me up so what. He still did not say a word. I said to him, "I feel very sorry for you and walk away."
I feel the reason why starbucks is losing customers is because they are becoming very lenient. They are not being properly trained, and they are hiring way too many young, disrespectful kids, which they never did before. Unfortunately, they will not survive if they do not change the way of running their business!

I usually go to this Starbucks location because it’s on my way to work however, early morning shift has terrible customer service and always runs out of hot coffee sleeves. Definitely will be finding a new location.

Service at this location is subpar. The baristas seem dazed and confused. Meanwhile, the food and drinks are mediocre. The preparation area looks untidy and unsanitary. Do yourself a favor and order from another location if you can.

If I can give 0 stars, I would. I had asked for a grande iced latte with oat milk, 2 pumps of vanilla, 2 pumps of caramel. I tried uploading the picture but unfortunately it won't let me but this is extremely unacceptable. I have been to this location before, no problems. Every other Starbucks makes my order perfectly with no problems. Well, not the case today! My order tastes like expired overly sweetened milk and looks like a foamy cloud. I can't even look at it because it is so disgusting. So now I am going to another Starbucks. So disappointing and this shouldn't even be okay. Who in their right mind would say, alright let me give this foamy cloud to a customer? Terrible, plus the workers were rude too. Definitely never coming back to this location.

I do not like to give reviews or go to a place based on reviews but really felt this experience needs one.Staff was talking non stop to each other (mainly complaining about guests) while about 10 folks were waiting inside for their orders (do not even know how many in drive thru). Once they stopped talking - the delivery of orders was quick.Ordered a cappuccino (was ok) and a Frappuccino (requested hazelnut flavor - to which they agreed) but got a completely white milkshake type drink and the person who made it insisted the recipe does not have coffee in it - I did not argue and after I came home I googled Hazelnut Frappuccino and surely see that Starbucks does make what I envisioned/requested.So upset !!!!!

Nice place
Love the coffee, but the drive-through line at this Starbucks can be a bit of a drag. It's often too long and moves too slowly, making it faster to just pop in and pick up your order inside. Nonetheless, the quality of their drinks keeps me coming back.

If you’re going to sell a premium product for a premium price then you need to be open when advertised. If you close at 9 PM, Then you need to be open at 8:57. Otherwise, don’t advertise that you close at 9!
