Our server was great, our drinks were good. Our food was terrible. I ordered Cobb salad because I'm gf and after starting to eat it I realized there was no chicken on it. Server took back and within 1 minute returned with a terribly dry piece of chicken which was obviously already cooked and sitting in the kitchen. I could not even cut with a knife. My husband ordered a steak sandwich ,served on a previously frozen keiser roll. Steak totally over cooked. Sweet potatoe fries cold and soggy. Seems everything was pre cooked. We did not complain at the time because we were with friends and just didn't want to.

Love Harpoon Willy's! The ambience is cozy and decorated so nicely for the holidays. The Fork and Knife burger is excellent!!! The lobster meat and cognac sauce make me want to go back again and again. The sautéed spinach underneath is plentiful and delicious. This may be my favorite burger in the area (along with Barnacle Bill's and The Pour House). The only thing I've noticed is that the few times I've eaten there and gotten the sweet potato fries, they're always a bit limp and warm ....crisper, fresh, hot fries, please!

We had a pleasant lunch at Harpoon Willy’s on a cold and rainy day. The intimate dining area with a roaring fire and nice Christmas decorations made it warm and inviting. We ordered several soups (clam chowder & chicken vegetable) and dishes (cheese burger, fresh dip sandwich, sirloin tips), which were reasonably priced and delicious. Or server was very friendly and responsive .

Kids pasta was dry, had to send it back. Short ribs a bit fatty. We were squeezed into a table when we had reservations. Service was just okay, guy kept leaving the table before we were finished talking. Other times hard to find him. Overall not trained well in basic service.

Been here once before and had an excellent experience. Back in the area and decided to return. The food, service, prices, and ambiance is over the top great. Clams as an appetizer, salad, with lobster, and scallops for the main course. Food is cooked so perfect here, along with friendly service. A touch on the noisy side around the bar, but that usually means they also have a great happy hour!!! Definitely will return again when in NJ.

Love going there when it starts to get colder the ambience is great. I had the pan seared fluke and it was very well prepared. The music was great! The bartender made a great espresso martini. Would definitely go back

We have been to Harpoon Willys many times and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this visit the food was very disappointing. We ordered the Tuna with mango pineapple salsa, cooked medium rare. We were served a well done, rubbery poor excuse for a tuna steak. The sautéed spinach tasted like frozen spinach with no flavor at all. The mashed vanilla sweet potatoes were ok. I will say our drinks, the atmosphere and the service were all excellent. We will return in the hopes this was just a one off with the food.

I want cocoon willies, but I think it was a bad day. It was a Monday for lunch. The server we had was serving both inside and outside tables so she wasn't as available as she should have been also, maybe on Monday the normal chef is out. I don't know, but I ordered a hamburger which they're famous for and I've had many times and it wasn't the best I've ever had. I was very disappointed. I will come back again because I've been a longtime customer of harpoon Willy's and everybody can have a bad day
