Even if the food was great, getting your entrees 2 hours and 15 minutes after you order ruined the dining experience and the food wasn't even that great.2 of our entrees were very good, 2 were average and 2 were pretty bad.The place was over crowded and way understaffed except for a bunch of non-english speaking bus boys. There was a VERY brisk takeout business draining the resources from the dining room.Lubrano's has to decide if it wants to be a corner take out joint or a fine dining establishment. They can't be both and my experience more than proved it.

Not on the menu but they serve the best manicotti bolognese outside of new corners in Brooklyn. Excellent ceasar salad as well and its BYOB only downside is its so popular its always crowded and a but noisy

Came here with a group of 6 after a performance at the Algonquin Theatre (already wrote the review). The place was packed and I am thankful that they were able to accomodate my request to change my reservation t 5pm from 6pm! Starting off with their excellent bread, spices and olive oil gave us time to decide on entrees. Two of us went with the Pork Chop Murphy (Pan seared bone in chop with plenty of Murphy sauce with onions, mushrooms, hot & sweet cherry peppers and potatoes), Two went with Chicken Mirtilli & Gorganzola (carmelized shallots, sun dried cranberries and sweet gorganzola and a Sherry-Balsamic deniglaze. Add to that a Veal and Chicken Parmigiana with pasta and Shrimp Scampi with pasta. Shared desserts consisted of Apple Crum Pie a la mode and Chocolate cake. Both were terrific! The restaurant is BYOB and reservations are recommended at all times. As an aside, their take out area was extremely busy.

I can't speak highly enough about this place, the place is very clean, the service is excellent, the food is fantastic, even the bread is better than anything else

Visited Lubrano's today for the first time with my mom (2/10/2024) The food was very good and plentiful. Hunter was our server. He was top notch. My mom had the Francese Trio and I had the parmagiana trio.
