They have a case full of gluten free vegan baked items that all look beautiful and delicious. I tried a coconut cookie and a s’mores bar and they both completely disintegrated and dissolved into a sugary grainy sand in the mouth. Not sure what gluten free flour they are using but it is gross. I’ve had plenty of vegan and gluten free baked goods that hold their shape, have some bite, and don’t melt in the mouth but these were not like that at all unfortunately.
I purchased a gf/v chicken Cesar wrap from the fridge and an apple turnover and a croissant. These 3 things ran me $33. Which I get it, vegan gluten free is expensive. For an occasional treat, I splurge. I can’t sugar coat it: the wrap was awful. I only ate half because I was very hungry and I threw the other half away. Tough to do when it was $20… The wrap itself fell apart immediately, the kale was very tough and didn’t seem fresh and the dressing was on the side but was congealed and not pourable. So I attempted to jam the mess into the dressing and was not very successful. The apple turnover was a bit dry and nothing to write home about. The croissant was good. Maybe I just got the wrong things. I know v and gf can be tough to make but that wrap was so terrible.
As someone who is both vegan and gluten free, this place was like heaven on earth. They labeled everything so clearly and had such a wide variety of options of baked goods. Rivals the famous Vegan Treats bakery of Bethlehem, PA. I only wish that they had more savory offerings.
I’ve had gluten free items from the Matawan location before and they were always good. But it was the complete opposite at this location. The cookie sandwich was hard and greasy, one bite and I was done. The brownie cookie and raspberry oat bar were very grainy and not good. For the price that everything was, it should be much better than it was. I’ll just stick to my Simple Mills gluten free cake mixes because at least I know they’re good!
As someone with Celiac disease, it’s a blessing having Papa Ganache in town. The staff is always friendly & helpful. I’ve tried a bunch of delicious things through the years, but faves are the gluten free crumb cakes, brownies, cake pops, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies & parmesan brioche.

I am literally obsessed with this delightful little gem! Everything I have tried so far (cupcakes, take out stromboli and wraps) has been so delicious and truthfully - a work of art. It's hard to share when everything tastes so great! Being vegan since 2006, it's been a challenge finding options so I am thrilled Papa Ganache has found a home in Manasquan.

I love this place! I am not vegan but my son has to have vegan choices due to allergies! When he has birthday parties to go to or school parties I take advantage of the sweet treats we get from here! My mother was the one to find you guys and I honestly think it’s amazing what you guys do here! My son’s favorite are the chocolate donut pops! He makes sure we get them for birthday party’s! Keep up the great work!

I have been to all 3 locations and have tried every dessert option and have enjoyed everything
This is the second time I have visited the bakery. The products are outstanding, the ingredients are the best, and most of all the staff is extremely accommodating to answer any questions. You don't even feel guilty indulging in some of their delicious treats and ponder about the number of calories. I will visit this place in manasquan every time I am in the area.

Papa ganache has a great selection of vegan baked goods, including lots of vegan options. I find it a bit pricey, but I still get stuff whenever I’m in the area. Lots of regional favorites like rainbow cookies and black and white cookies.
Dietary restrictions: My grandchildren are allergic to soy, dairy & rice. This place is amazing for their desserts. I cook but to make desserts I’ll leave that to the professionals!

The Matawan location has a more significant selection. Overall still a great experience.
Stumbled upon this while visiting family and the shore. I was almost overwhelmed with the amount of options available! I ordered three different cupcakes, a cannoli, and a croissant. The croissant was the flakiest and most delicious that I’ve ever had— vegan or otherwise. Highly recommend this place.
Delicious stuff but a muffin and a very small danish was $14 and who could afford $33 for 6 little cupcakes . No prices anywhere and why sooo high?
