We come to riverside cafe almost every time we visit the beach!! Each time the staff is so friendly and the food comes out fresh hot and delicious! Definitely recommend coming for a quick lunch while on the beach!

Best spot ever! Were locals who LOVE dog beach and Manasquan by the inlet - the owner is so friendly and amazing we love seeing him each beach trip, the women (i think it’s his wife) makes THE BEST coffee ☕️the kids ice cream cones are perfect size and thr ice cream is so yummy. Perfect to crisp fries. Cutest local spot! Highly recommend.

My friends and I went for breakfast this morning and it was sooo good! The pancakes were my favorite! The family that owns it is very nice as well and they offer amazing service! Highly recommend!

Not as pet friendly as they say! First, i couldn't use the bathroom bc i had my dog, okay no problem. Went somewhere else. No servers so you have to go order from the counter. Well the old lady the one with an attitude tells me tie my dog up. I said I dont think that's a good idea and she just said WELL. so I tye my dog up and it scared the shit out of him. He trys to run, chair attached to him and almost runs in the street and gets hit by a car. Don't advertise as pet friendly if your not accommodating to people that are alone with there pets. Someone could have easily taken my order. Seems they only respect locals there. Never again. Also, there were a bunch of digs sitting with their humans. They only gave the locals water for their dog. I know this bc they were on a frist name basis. I will advise everyone I know to not come here! This place is ridiculous!
Replying - I'm assuming this is the old lady that had a bad attitude that's responding to this review. First of all, I didn't ask you to hold my dog. What makes you think I would trust you when you have a bad attitude towards guests? 2nd if you read my review I said they didn't allow me to use the bathroom NO PROBLEM. Also, since you been there so long you would know the public bathroom is on the boardwalk which dogs are not allowed. You could say all you want but the truth of the matter is there were 4 dogs (not including mine) and only ONE of them were given water which was the local. My review is true and fair but I could see your trying to justify your horrible behavior!

Fish and chips were tasteless and the fries were cold. I ordered clam chowder $5.95, which didn’t have one piece clam or piece of clam and was not good. $ 30.00 for this? The young man was delightful and it was nice eating outside but the food was terrible. Never again… You didn’t ask me anything and I’ve never eaten there before. Never had crab cakes.
