First time at the Squan Tavern so we didn't know what to expect. Let me say that our whole experience was excellent. We were greeted be by a very friendly staff who seated us and our waitress Mandi was terrific. Karen had the pea soup (wonderful) and the best veal marsala that she has had in years, my chicken parm was delicious with the sauce being one of the best that I have had at a restaurant. Overall a great meal..we will be coming back again.

Must try is the sicillian with hot honey and breaded chicken.. well done. The crust is crispy yet fluffy and buttery goodness. I do like the regular round pie with peppadew peppers which is a rare find as a topping in general but sicillian all the way. Good drinks and atmosphere! Go early or be prepared to wait.

I ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms and spinach with chicken for $32, and the gnocchis were spinach flavored despite it not saying that on the menu. I was very upset when I arrived home and noticed. Additionally, the food was flavorless. I don’t recommend this place.
