Very disappointed, went shopping all morning just wanted a cocktail ! I sit down at the bar to have a few drinks like I normally would. The kid next to me by by self that spent no money gets everything first. Wait 10 minutes that finely asked for our order and takes everything at one time. The appetizer came out before my drink ….. my drink was empty by time I started my entree. Never asked one time if we needed anther drink. I definitely wasn’t drinking the tap water I only drink bottle water. I was to aggravated to even ask for anther drink my food was done. I asked for check and left. I’ll go to another bar. My father is owns a restaurant and you don’t make money not serving drinks I’m good for business but had no opportunity to spend money. I have friends with restaurants and they want people to drink. The old bartender was great but now it’s a kid behind the bar all by himself while it’s busy and is making them lose money …. Not that they need the business…

I actually stumbled into this place completely by accident after I mixed up the date of a service for a friend—but wow, what a happy mistake! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and cozy, and the staff made me feel right at home.
I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. My server, Kelly, was outstanding! Super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely great at what she does. She made the whole experience even better.
If I lived in Manasquan, this would hands-down be one of my regular go-to spots. The menu has so many tempting options, but the garlic grilled cheese with avocado and those crispy shoestring fries… incredible. Total must-try!
So glad my little scheduling mix-up led me here—sometimes the best places are the ones you find by accident!

The servers seemed visibly emotional that we came in with less than an hour before closing (3 p.m. on Sundays). We didn’t realize they closed that early since there were still several tables seated outside on the street and on the upstairs deck- and since the hosts didn’t give us a heads up. We totally would have left if we knew they were closing that soon. Once an upstairs server informed us, we were immediately apologetic and placed our order as soon as we received our menus (which ironically took them a long time to bring over), but we were still made to feel very uncomfortable- with eye rolls, exasperated expressions, and generally poor attitudes. I understand that working a long, busy shift (until 3 p.m. lol) can be exhausting, and that the staff likely wanted to head home, but the restaurant was still open and we were just getting a tuna sandwich and a burger. It would have been nice not to feel like such an inconvenience or burden — or to have to apologize for simply dining there during business hours. Also, salt shaker was rusty, crusty, dusty with a white hair stuck to it. The bathroom was absolutely trashed. Shame because we really love the burgers here.

We sampled the three of the toasts- the tomato, avocado,and ricotta topped with strawberries. One was better than the next!The salads were fresh,crispy, flavorable, and delicious. Then to top this all with the Brie melted (with figs) burger along with the sweet potato waffle fries which were all prepared to perfection.Our children enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes withe the generous addition of fresh fruit! All servings was plentiful! Couldn't be happier ..made reservations ahead for the weekend! Great job chef and staff!

Very unhappy use to love this place but now I question going back. My medium bugger came out well done and over cooked, I opted for Salad instead of fry’s but sadly my salad had flys on it from The kitchen. No store manger came out to make things ok. Sadly after may year it may just be time to move on to a new place. Flys coming from the kitchen on my food is not ok and an Heath hazard. I can’t eat food from restaurants that have bugs coming form the kitchen.

Our server was perfectly nice and attentive and the food was decent. My salad was very small for the price, but I could normally overlook that. However, when we entered the restaurant we were RUDELY informed that our reservation was actually 20 minutes prior. While we made a simple mistake, the Host was extremely snippy despite us being polite over a simple miscommunication. It’s important to note that plenty of tables were available. This left a bad impression as to me, the host is the face of the restaurant and left a terrible first impression. I’m sure we will have better meals & experience better manners during the rest of our vacation.
