This is a great local bar. Staff is friendly and knows everyone. Great place to just hang out and the food is really good. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is food took alittle long to get other then that food was delicious, staff was pleasant and it's a cool place to hang out on a slow night. I would go back again!
All Aboard!! Or not 😏 At Manasquan, NJ, one can hop on a train and head to Bay Head, or just mosey on in to The Irish Rail for a nice dinner and drinks.
Even though they are “home to the #1 burgers in Manasquan!”we opted for fish and chips and their “famous Irish potato soup.”
Bonus, we got to see the 8pm train to Bay Head pull in just 8 minutes late on Day 30 of 50 Days of Trains.
Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. Food was good....
The only thing Irish about this establishment is the name. Atmosphere is drab. One shamrock plaque with " Irish Rail" on it. Nothing else Irish or Railroad in the place. The food was excellent, despite limited menu that was not Irish. Staff worked hard to serve all , despite the full crowd. Two ladies for a full crowd unfair to them and patrons! Website did not, but in the future should indicate when there is a fund raising event.Draft beer could be colder.
