The food is always great. Always some kind of special! My fav was the best blue cheese bacon burger. Blows away any competition. I hope it goes on the regular menu so we can have it whenever!!

It is going to be a great resource for helping others in Ocean County. Had lunch today with my son. He had a Ruben, and I had the Cod sandwich. Everything was excellent food, atmosphere and service Great job, Pat! My self and my two nephews went to dinner at the Barn last night. We had the burger and fries. I can tell you their Burgers will match up against anyone's. Beside the food, the best reason to be a customer is that they are training young adults with learning disabilities and teach them a trade that will make them self-sufficient. Sometimes, the service may not be as fast as you want. You gotta realize you are paying it forward and getting great food.

My friend and I had breakfast this morning at The Barn. Welcoming atmosphere, grate service. Chef Laura is an amazing cook. The Barn is definitely place to celebrate !

Very friendly staff but you just don't feel welcomed as a customer there. Not totally sure how to explain it, but the waits between follow up wether ordering or refilling water shows just a lack of attention to the customer. But again they seem very friendly.
The food just leaves lots to be desired, long waits for food seem common. I ordered the homemade corn beef hash with potatoes, it was very and I mean very greasy/oily , definitely would never order again or recommend it!
Have had other items from their menu and they are average, but can not understand the long waits for food to be done, this evening when they are not crowded.
Hope it improves as this could be a heck of a good local place.

I heard so many good things from friends who has breakfast here, so we stopped for lunch.
We each ordered a burger and a soda I got onion rings, and my wife got a half order of fries,. Nothing bad, but nothing great, the total bill was $44 and change - with tip, a simple lunch totaled $53.78 OUCH......

DO NOT GO THERE! Went there for mother's day and the food was horrific! First things first, the person who is 'serving you' is some old, bitter lady who works as fast as a snail. They expect you to wait for her to open each tray to serve you, (yeah okay).
Then once you get the food you find out it's not only disgusting but cold as ice.
The kicker of this whole thing is that they charged 20% gratuity because we had more than 6 people. What did they do to deserve that? They serves our drinks. That's it! That deserves over $32?
Just do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's before you think of going to that place.
They named the place correct, The Barn, since the only food they should be serving is to animals!

Great little gem food was great the corn beef hash was amazing something different most places have can corn beef this was homemade peppers I can do without but good service was friendly and the place is great and the cause makes it even better everything is made homemade other then what goes in the fryer I had the pleasure to meet the young lady who cooks in the mornings she is a old she Brooklyn Italy who cooks from her heart
