First time visiting the cascada, nice atmosphere and good service, very tasty food, but I ordered a chifrijo and it didn't have avocado as it should be on the menu. I told the waitress and she didn't care, leaving me a little disappointed.

Decent menu options, but the menu lacks detail in the description of food items. The $17 appetizer (Chicharrón con Tostones) came with only three tostones. That’s a shame, because they were nicely thin and delicious; arguably the best part of my entire meal. The chicharrón was just ok, and was accompanied with a side of small, pickled veggie rounds in a tangy pink sauce (reminded me of sliced carrots, but I have no idea what it actually was) My “fried rice” entree was tasty and very well-portioned, but slightly undercooked. I wish I knew the rice came with french fries (not specified on the menu); I would’ve asked to substitute them with fried plantains instead. Service was friendly, although a little slow, and food was overpriced. I might be back again just for the plátanos! 😉

Heads up.. this place turns into a night club at 8pm.
We came in yard work clothes and felt very underdressed.

be careful when you pay, they will try to charge you double or even triple, they will sabotage you.I am not the only one who has paid more than double what I owed, I know several friends who have been charged more than double or triple.They will rip you off.
COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!! COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!!! ??This review is in regards to today's experience, there was a disgusting cockroach sitting at the bottom of our food that unfortunately we did not realize until we were almost done and my daughter screamed what is that at the bottom of our Picada!! ?The manager Lilly thought it to be enough to offer us a refund for the Picada alone ☝?charged for the other dish.. she excused herself saying that maybe it was because they fumigated that morning… ? and it wasn't until I said to her that maybe a drink would help swallow the disgust.. that she offer ONE DRINK!!I mean, Am I overreacting???Or maybe she should’ve done more??I’m still nauseated and my 9 year old is traumatized ?COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!!
