Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

We went here for a wedding. We had a wonderful time. The food was great and the beer was as well.

We've been to Iron Hill several times and it's generally pretty good. Food quality is consistently good and they have a great beer selection. Service has always been good too.

The reason we don't go that often though is that the value is not that great. Some menu items are quite expensive and portion sizes are on the small side. ($22 for a small caesar salad with 4oz of salmon, or 2 cheesesteak egg rolls for $17 just as a couple examples). It's hard to justify these kinds of prices for what is basically an upscale bar. Other menu options such as their sandwiches are more reasonable but I think it would be nice if they reviewed their menu and either lowered prices or provided more reasonable portions.

Edit: Updating my review as Iron Hill has introduced some better value options, and I've been coming here a bit more lately. In particular, they have a daily takeout special of 2 pizzas and a growler of beer for $25, which is a great value, in my opinion.

The beer was good. The food was just okay. The spaghetti sauce from the kids menu was surprisingly spicy and should come with a warning for children.

There were a lot of wait staff, and they were all darting around and stressed out. It's not that they're understaffed. There just seemed to be something inefficient about the system

Even though it was busy, we had good service. Bryan specifically was awesome; if I come back, might need to ask for him by name. The goat cheese strawberry salad was legit; I wasn’t sure if I’d like it when I ordered it but mannnn, yum.

Only downside to the visit was the kids pasta. The sauce was extremely spicy for children, and really altogether. I’d recommend staying away or asking for buttered noodles (unless your kid likes eating fire). Sounds like the kitchen might know better than everyone else, so I doubt it’ll change anytime soon.

All and all, great time and great food. Would go again!

I was born in England, and I know good fish and chips. Many places say they have fish and chips, but they are french fries, not chips. Well these were the very best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. They were as good as English chips.

Service... Callia gave the very best service, and I watched her as she
served others and her service was just as good and she served eith a smile. When next in the area, I would go back.

We went on a Saturday night which is big eat out night and were seated right away with a reservation mason was our server and he was friendly and helpful we were celebrating a birthday and there were 5 of us we had not been to iron hill in years but figured we would try we had 3 appys to share and they were all great then we all had burgers except mine was turkey and cooked perfectly and one crab cake Sammie Really glad we tried iron hill again and we would def all go back!

Service was great. The salads were super fresh and flavorful. I got the Green Chiles burger, which was not spicy but did have great flavor. The beer is top-notch- and we even tried a new one tonight that was also great. Thank you to the manager, Colleen and Kate from corporate for checking in and making sure we were happy with our experience.

Food was good. It took much longer than I expected to get each item.

My fiancée and I went here tonight & left more than disappointed. We have kids at home so even when we go out without them, we never leave without boxing up any extra food. The food here was so bad we just left it so we did not torture them too.

We both got burgers and fries. The fries were comparable to cardboard cutout flimsy rectangles, and the burgers greasy and the cheese congealed with the consistency and flavor of melted plastic. Even the spear pickle on the side was bland, how do you mess up a pickle!?

Our server, Will, was excellent though. I do think his talents would be great anywhere else.

Well-crafted brews, good food, attentive service. Black bean burger & Homestead for me, stout & outstanding mushroom soup for my date. We will return.

Food and drinks WERE AMAZING, I got a cheeseburger and my friend got a grilled chicken sandwich. Yet the service was the only thing wrong. We had to ask for utensils because they were not at our table. When my friend and I were almost finished our meal that's when she checked on us. The server was more focused on her side jobs than her tables that she had to serve. Would probably come again. And that is why I rate this 4 ⭐

Really awesome food & drinks.

Had THE best BLT ever here. The brew selections are ever changing and give wide and varied choices. Servers are friendly but not bothersome. Servers can help you choose your brew and are knowledgeable.
Iron Hill donated the best soup to a local fundraiser recently but it's not on the menu. ☹️ Tomato Basil bisque.
I would go there just for this soup alone!

Amazing Service from Callia at Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant!

My wife and I visited Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Maple Shade, NJ on January 8, 2025, and had the pleasure of being served by Callia. From the moment we arrived, Callia's warm and engaging personality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly attentive and interacted with us throughout the evening, ensuring we had everything we needed.

Callia's service was impeccable, and her friendly demeanor added a special touch to our night. This was our second visit to Iron Hill, and once again, we were blown away by the excellence in service that we've come to expect here. Hats off to Callia for making our evening so enjoyable. We can't wait to come back again and experience the outstanding service that Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant consistently delivers.

**Exceptional Service and Delicious Food!**

We visited on Tuesday night, October 15, 2024, and had an outstanding experience thanks to Natalie, our bartender. She provided exceptional service, was incredibly friendly, professional, and personable. Natalie was very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, and she brought out our food with a warm smile. The food was absolutely delicious!

We were so impressed with Natalie's service that we asked to speak with the manager, Tom, to let him know how great she was. This is what excellent customer service is all about, and it's the reason we keep coming back.

A special shoutout to Emily as well, who helped out with a cheery smile as she delivered some of our dishes. This place is our go-to spot for both exceptional service and exceptional food. Thank you, Natalie!
