Sal and Joes is one of the best Italian Restaurants in NJ!!! My family has been going there since the late 80s, maybe before. The food is amazing and delish!!! The ambience is cozy! And you will fall in love with their garlic bread- sooooo good!🤤!!!

Pizza was good but we had trouble getting the correct order via the slice app. Ordered a large mushroom pie and added pepperoni to the whole pie for $4. Received a large pie with mushrooms only on one side and pepperoni only on the other. Asked to be refunded for the extra topping since the pizza had only one topping (one on each side). They refunded $2 instead of $4. Not sure why all the confusion about what we ordered and what we received, but they seemed to be confused on both counts. Unfortunate bc the pizza was great.

We are here visiting for a wedding and stopped to have some pizza and Italian food ! The value was fantastic and the food was delicious. The garlic bread was delicious and hot. Baked ziti 10/10. If you came for Philly but stayed in New Jersey, you should come eat here !

Was very disappointing. I purchased clams and spaghetti and white sauce was very bitter. I couldn’t eat it. I had to discard it and the matrix Cana pasta was flavorless and mostly onions. The fettuccine was good. I would give it a nine out of 10, but I was very disappointed the salad side salad looked old

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and nothing is more comforting than Sal and Joe’s! I order everything, but the mussels and house salad with tomato Broccoli white pie is my absolute favorite. Good people and great food, I love supporting local people.

I ordered a Chicken parm, A cheeseburger and a 2L for about $42. The food tasted so bland. I felt like I could have gotten the same thing for like $8s less at any other restaurant. I never tried their pizzas so I won’t say anything about that. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Service was excellent.
