Went to this place for dinner on Saturday night/ Sunday morning. The food is amazing they have wonderful soup and also some great platters, would 100 percent return here and they are open very late.

I ordered the "mix chicken platter" and a large Mediterranean salad. The chicken consisted of a mix and each one was fresh and tasty. It also came with rice and roasted tomatoes. It was good and tasty. It was missing the bulgur but the menu states only upon availability (I guess it wasn't available). The Mediterranean salad was fresh but they forgot the feta cheese, something my wife and I love. The salad was just a mixed salad and not really Mediterranean. I know I should always check an order before I leave the spot but with a feisty 2 year old in tow it can be a little hard. The food came with plenty of pita and 2 sauces: one white and one spicy. The white was more watery than tszaki but maybe this is more of a Turkish sauce. The spicy sauce was tasty. All was good and I recommend the place but always check that the order is 100% correct anytime you leave an eatery. Update: Nothing can beat a place where the owner is receptive and really cares. I'm changing this to a 5-star review. We need more restaurants that treat their customers well! Thank you!

This place wouldn't make my favorite wrap... Because they were too busy? Guessing it took too much space on their very small grill :) R u kidding me?? When I went there, an older man with a crew cut was working the front along with some young girl. I definitely didnt like the old dude's disposition. The young girl was pleasant but didn't really know what she was doing. Never coming back here again!

If I could put 10 stars I would. If ur thinking about going here its an absolute MUST! I have not one complaint. The restaurant is very cozy and great for family. Service was 10/10. Food was absolutely perfect. Appetizers were great. Dessert was oh la la! Absolutely love this place. Cant wait to go back!

Got takeout here on Sunday night - didn’t notice that it was takeout only, maybe add that information to your Updates section so that it’s easier to notice. Waited about 35 minutes for two combo plates and babaganoush. My chicken Adana and lamb shish combo was good, not great - lamb shish was definitely over marinated because it was way too lemony and the texture was mushy soft (on par with what happens with overmarination).

Definitely coming back! Everything was absolutely delicious. The baklava was easily the best I’ve had in a long time (and the best I’ve had in NJ or NY for sure) and the rice was incredibly fluffy with a beautiful taste. Can’t wait until I get try out more of the menu!

A bit disappointed in our food here. We got a falafel wrap and a chicken wrap. The falafel wrap was bland, and tried to make it less so with the provided sauces to no avail. The tzatziki sauce was quite runny so it difficult to use. They also have different fries than they used to, they're coated/breaded, instead of the steak fries, which I'm not particularly fond of.

Galata Turkish is the best Turkish food there is hands down!!! I’m originally from Bk and I know my Turkish food. The owner is extremely nice and went above and beyond for us to make sure our party was catered perfectly. He even took our order during a snowstorm in his off day. Serving only takeout at this time - state they cannot employ servers in light of labor shortage. The order was placed over the phone easily and without error. The meal was on time and ready for pickup - nicely packaged and still warm. The food was authentically tasty, warm and most importantly - not dried out. Very ample servings. Fairly priced. Would try again without hesitation.
