Our waitress was excellent, super helpful and attentive. We didn't feel rushed, which was wonderful. Moscato was the best we've ever had and the food was amazing as always.

Everything about our experience at Il Nido was great from the way we were greated through dessert. The food was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be returning!

First time eating at Il Nido and the food and service was fantastic. The only complaint is that my gnocchi had a little too much salt, but otherwise very tasty. The service was impeccable and we will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious!! 10/10 would definitely recommend. Everything is homemade (farm to table). Our server Carmen was AMAZING. She was so sweet & continuously made sure our drinks were filled and that we were completely taken care of. She’s the best!! I can’t wait to come back!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of hosting our family wedding dinner at Il Nido. With Il Nido being our favorite restaurant as a couple, we couldn’t picture celebrating this special day with family anywhere else.

Kyle and Norman were instrumental in the creation and execution of this spectacular dinner of over 40 guests. The wait staff, specifically Erica and Carmen, were so attentive, patient, sincere—just exceeding our expectations throughout the entire night.

Don't let the strip mall fool you. Il Nido is a relaxed and cozy spot to unwind over a leisurely meal. Service is warm, yet professional (ask for James P.) The menu is inventive Italian, and appears to be staying that way despite some recent staffing changes in the kitchen. It seems to me that the food is still being figured out; some of the dishes can be rather confusing with too many components that do not allow the main ingredient(s) to shine, but the head chef is keen on input and will hopefully have all tweaks shortly in place.

One of our favorite italian spots in all of Monmouth County! The food is top notch and delicious every time. You can’t go wrong with any of the home made pastas. Rotating menu keeps it interesting every time we return. Love visiting Il Nido and the service is phenomenal. We make a point to sit with James and he is a class act! From wine recommendations to attentiveness, always a fabulous experience in his section.

Love this place and can’t wait for the next meal.

Wow what a long wait at hostess stand. No one in sight and we aren’t even acknowledged for 10 minutes. Once we sat the experience got a little better. The three cheese ravioli was delicious. The, branzino had a funky smell to it. One of the worst dishes I have had. The crispy potatoes were delicious with the aioli being lovely. The beet salad was nice as well. The shrimp aranchini had a nice crispy and flavor. The best thing we had. Also enjoyed the zeppoles. They were like munchkins from dunkin donuts but kicked up. They had good flavor with the honey and pistachio’s as garnish. Overall, food was decent (minus the branzino) but service was not good. Wouldn’t come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Il Nido, located at the Shopping Center on 184 Route 9 North in Willow Point, Marlboro Township, NJ. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch.

One of the team members, James, truly went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared that everyone at our table was happy. When one of my friends wasn’t satisfied with her dish, James handled it with ease and efficiency—no questions asked, the plate was replaced quickly, and with a smile.

It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and atmosphere all come together so seamlessly. Il Nido delivered on all fronts. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers not only exquisite food but also an unforgettable experience, Il Nido is the place. Our group came in 20 strong—and then, the night before, we added five more people to the reservation. Any other restaurant might’ve balked at the last-minute change, but not Il Nido. The staff was incredibly accommodating, warm, and gracious, handling it all with ease and a smile.

From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beauty of the atmosphere. The space is elegant and inviting, with soft lighting and a calm, refined energy that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for both special celebrations and relaxed nights out.

Now, the food—absolutely divine. Every dish we tried was crafted with care and sophistication. The flavors were balanced and fresh, the presentation was gorgeous, and everything from the handmade pastas to the appetizers was rich and deeply satisfying. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both quality and creativity.

The true highlight of the night, though, was James, our server. He was hands-down the best—gracious, attentive, and genuinely kind. Managing a group of 25 is no small feat, but he did it with professionalism and warmth! He made sure everyone felt taken care of, was completely patient with all our requests, and even let me take my food back without hesitation. James made the whole evening feel effortless, like we were guests in someone’s home.

The combination of top-tier food, a stunning atmosphere, and truly exceptional service made our night something special. We felt so welcomed and cared for—Il Nido went above and beyond in every way. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back!!!!!
