Over Easy Kitchen - Marlboro

I ordered 4 scrambled eggs. And it cost me $10!!! The place is nice. It's clean, the staff is very friendly and outgoing.
But $10 for four scrambled eggs is a bit rich for my taste. I paid for it because I wanted the eggs and had already ordered them without inquiring how much they cost beforehand, but I could have got me the whole dozen eggs and then some for $10

Paul and Dimitri were working the counter this morning, so sweet and attentive! Were happy to make modifications for a specials drink and the food was amazing, I try something new every time I come in.

Best brunch place in Jersey! I drive all the way from New York to come eat here just for the great staff and amazing food!

The server with Pony tail made us wait for more than 15 mins while he was sipping through his drink at the register talking with his friends. I had to keep looking at him so many times to get his attention, wave at him so he could come and I could ask for a check. When I asked why he took so long he replied they were having a “meeting” because they have big party the next day. didn’t apologize, nothing. How does the owner allow these “meetings” while severs are actively serving customers on busy Saturday morning, I would understand if he was busy running around attending customers but it’s ridiculous to make customers wait because you have “meeting”. wouldn’t go again.

This happened on 11/8.Picture taken at 2:10 pm. I'm sharing this because it was horrifying to experience. We had just gotten our food, and while cutting through the plate, this was in there. Everytime I see this picture i just want to throw up. How could something this big not be caught while prepping a meal? My poor 4-year-old was gagging after seeing this. After coming back from the bathroom, making sure my child wouldn't throw up, all the manager could say was, "Sorry, our salads are pre-washed." They took care of the bill. I mean, who's going to eat after seeing this! Truthfully, I've worked in the restaurant business before, and as the manager, I don't believe it was handled with care. People need to be held accountable for this. We tipped the sever because it wasnt his fault and left. Not only was it traumatic for me, but the worst part is my kid had to see and go through it too. I promise you, we will never go back to eating here again!

One of our favourite places to go for breakfast or lunch. If you have not tried their steak and eggs, you’re missing out. I don’t know what did they do with the Steak, but it is absolutely phenomenal. Juicy and yummy. Perfect for people on high protein diet and after the workout. I have tried the same dishes at other places and I keep coming back.

Love the space, view, openness. Food takes 30 min regardless of how busy they are....There are some girls in the front that are an absolute delight but one or two clearly work in the back for a reason.

Over Easy is a little hidden jem amid a sea of blase breakfast nooks in Marlboro, NJ. I went on a Saturday morning for my birthday brunch and it was the highlight of my special day. Upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff and walked under boughs of bright purple flowers strung over head that decorated the ceiling on the way to our table. Our server Paul was wonderful! Polite and professional he was so attentive and answered all our questions about the menu with a smile. Coffee and cappuccino were everything we hoped for. Rich, creamy and delectable. But the food was even more amazing. Fluffy, 2-inch thick omlettes that were freshly made stuffed with garden spinach and feta. Perfectly sautéed potatoes on the side. The best part? They offer gluten free toast and pancakes that were better than any I've ever had. Oh and the coffee mugs are for sale 😊☕️Between the calming atmosphere, the top notch service and the incredibly good food, I give Over Easy 5 stars! Something I dont do often. The prices are worth the experience. Thank you 😊❤️
