Not happy with Stax today…my wife got 2 eggs with home fries and only came with 1 piece of toast…her cup of coffee $3.50…my unsweetened iced tea (small glass) $3.25…I had pork roll egg and cheese on a roll w/home fries were very good…we ordered a side of pancakes to share 3 pancakes 11.99…they came with a small container of syrup and no butter…I had to ask for more syrup because they were dry…so with the tip it was almost $52 for breakfast for 2 people…
Decided to have breakfast at Stax on this holiday weekend. We had the Ben Maduro & a Crepe as our entrees. A little sweet & savory. The presentation & creativity on the two dishes were amazing. Our server was extremely helpful in making our breakfast selections as well. Overall, it was a 9.5. We need to go back to try the Tempura Roll breakfast. That looks amazing as well.
Today was my 2nd time going to Stax. The food was absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to go back again. Also, the staff is beyond friendly and so accommodating. I highly recommend.

STAX is a decent breakfast and lunch place in NJ, with a clean and well-presented establishment. The staff is easy-going, although service can be slow at times. The food is good, with regular specials like Japanese Pancakes that are to die for. The menu offers a variety of options, including a chicken chef's salad and a stack of pancakes. Customers have praised the quality of the eggs, with the egg white omelet prepared well and bacon that is crispy and not wimpy. The place also offers a good choice of toast that comes standard with eggs or omelets, and care is taken with the plating of the food. The atmosphere is average, but they make special gestures like putting candles on pancakes for birthdays. The drinks also stand out; the lattes, such as a cold pistachio flavor, are highly enjoyed, and the coffee is not disappointing, with friendly service even when busy. While some dishes like the salmon bowl may be bland, overall the experience is enjoyable, and many look forward to returning for lunch or a new breakfast experience. Overall, a recommended spot for a fresh and enjoyable breakfast or lunch in NJ.
