We did a private birthday party in the back room and they really did a fantastic job. The staff was as amazing - they didn’t rush you, but the food came out quickly. You got a lot for your money. I would absolutely do another party here.

Incredible food at the Pickled Herring! The pastrami is absolutely delicious, the stuffed cabbage is perfect, and the kanishes are spot on. Freshly made halva for dessert was amazing. We love coming here and would recommend it to everyone looking for an authentic, tasty experience.

Very disappointed on last visit. Have they changed owners? All new staff. Corned beef sandwich was just odds and ends little pieces…scraps! Usually go once a month. Will try only once more, especially at these prices.

This is a must stop anytime we're in New Jersey visiting family. We have nothing like this in North Carolina, Wilmington area and boy, do I miss this great food!!!
