The staff in this location is horrible. They act as if they don’t want to be there. I frequent this Frutta bowls and the staff is never overly nice but this last time was horrible and will be the last time I go. A friend and I walked in and we both greeted the staff member while she stood staring at us with a scowl. And I mean we waited for a response because why are you just staring and not acknowledging customers? Very short, sighing and just definitely not meant to work in customer service. After making our food the staff ran to the back room without a word. I was in the middle of asking a question as they ran away. I understand these are kids but the behavior is ridiculous. It’s also just bizarre to have such an ignorant group of workers in the middle of the promenade where everyone else is sunshine and rainbows.
The owner/management needs to find better help because rude staff will not build a business it’ll only help drive it to failure. I’ll be going to Playa from now on.

I also had the Frutella, and it might be my new favorite. The combination of açaí and Nutella is next-level—sweet, creamy, and super satisfying without being too heavy.

I’m a regular customer here in summer time and my favorite thing to order is green machine smoothie. I happened to order one today but I was super disappointed. This green machine tasted nothing like the old ones. It’s so bland just like you throw bunch veggies and fruit into water. It also doesn’t even look as thick as it used to be and this cost $9.80. I think with this price this quality is not acceptable.

Would not recommend. The workers on top of not greeting you or knowing how to say hello, the bathroom was absolutely filthy with no toilet paper. When I asked the girl for some, she simply said they were out which I proceeded to ask if a manager knew how unsanitary and dirty the bathroom was. The worker shrugged her shoulders and looked away. If you’re going to run a business in a nice area, keep it sanitary and train your employees on customer service.

I suggest that you memorize what it is that you will like before ordering cause the crappy attitude you will get its something to remember for a bit. I’m so disappointed! I recently discovered Frutta Bowls and thought I had found my go-to spot for my daily protein shake. As a die-hard Nutella lover, the Chocolate Explosion seemed like the perfect choice for me. Nutella and getting my daily protein. Perfect!
My first visit was amazing—I ordered a small size, and I had plenty of Nutella and protein at the same time. The shake was slush/frozen to perfection and absolutely delicious! I even ordered some protein bites to go with it. Based on that great experience, I decided to return the next day and ordered a regular/larger size of the same thing. Again, It had the perfect amount of Nutella throughout the cup and was just as slush/frozen and delicious as before.
When I find something I love, I tend to purchase it daily, and that’s exactly what I planned to do. I don’t care about cost if the quality is great. However, my next two orders were disappointing! The quality had declined drastically. Instead of generously adding Nutella, the staff barely put a small squirt around the rim of my cup. On top of that, the shake itself was so watery and lacked flavor.
The first time this happened, I chalked it up that the store may have been having an off day and gave it another chance the next day, but it was the same exact issue.
A word of advice: when you notice a customer consistently ordering the same item, it’s important to maintain the same quality that brought them back in the first place.
Unfortunately, I’ll have to find a new place for protein shakes because the way the store is now making this drink just doesn’t feel worth it now for the cost. I can honestly make the same thing at home everyday.

Ordered two smoothies, green machine and a mango strawberry, and a 3 fruit açaí bowl. The mango strawberry smoothie was the most bland smoothie I’ve ever had and started separating immediately, but the green machine was actually pretty good. For the price I payed I was greeted with a mumbling cashier and all 3 people working behind the bar area looked miserable. Really wouldn’t recommend this location and it’s more than likely only being supported as an impulse buy.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING I got a regular pitaya muscle up bowl for $14.40 The young lady brought a sloppy and luke warm bowl of what did not look like pitaya from the back. So I asked her “is that pitaya?” and she confirmed that it was. Then she proceeded to put mounds of granola to fill up the bowl because the mysterious pitaya was well under portioned. She finished with 2 globs of peanut butter, thick cut bananas, and closed it with a sloppy lid. The “pitaya” was not pitaya. It tasted like applesauce/baby food and it wasn’t at the least chilled. You know when you have a taste for PlayaBowl but don’t wanna take the drive..Definitely take the drive to Playa Bowl!!! Or Smoothie King, or Tropical Smoothie Cafe, anywhere really, JUST DONT COME HERE!!
