“Baked by the Ocean made cookies for the football team for after practice a few weeks ago and my kids keep asking when they are making them again. They ask almost everyday to stop at the bakery it’s their favorite. They are also super super friendly. We’ve always had wonderful experiences going there.“

“Kiddo brought me a blueberry scone from Beach Buns Bakery and omg! I don't generally leave reviews but this needed one. Y'all this scone made me almost cry it was that good. It's not too sweet like some can be, just enough blueberries and a hint of lemon zest in there. Delicious. I have yet to be disappointed with a pastry from BBB but that blueberry scone!“

“My mom and I swung by Dot’s this morning to pick up some donuts and pastries for our family, and we’re so happy that we did! The donuts were absolutely delicious (I could eat a dozen of those glazed ones!), and everything was warm and fresh. And I want to give a shout-put to the gentleman who helped us. “Steven at 768 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ was incredible making absolutely certain that we were taken care of even though his store was not open. The Auntie Anne's website has the hours for this location swapped with the store farther up the boardwalk. He took great measures to explain what was going on and took steps to get us what we needed. Steven is an exemplary leader and customer representative. He is an outstanding asset to this company.“

“I've been coming here since I was a kid. They used to have a large array of items, including pigs in blankets and egg custard tarts. Lots of fruity cakes on display, and a variety of buns and breads... Nowadays, they seem to moreso have coconut custard bread, BBQ pork buns (char siu bao - I always look it up, but Google claims the only places that sell it are in Philly), cake rolls, cookies, and sweet bread. Bubble tea is good here, too. For first-timers: Go for the things that would generally move quickly, to ensure freshness - I recommend the almond cookies, which are extremely delicate and mildly sweet.The woman working the counter always says that she doesn't speak English, but if you treat her kindly and keep that barrier in mind, she'll be respectful in return. While she was generally happier when I was a child, I think the years of dealing with people have left her worn out. So think of the soup chef from Seinfeld; point at what you want, pay for it, thank her, and move along.“

“Started going to Mrs. Brizzles about 7 years ago. The owner Mike & his wife are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Not only are their sandwiches huge, so are their personalities. Our entire family have made it a point to get to Mrs. Brizzles while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. You will not be disappointed! Would give them 6 stars!“

“Vegan who is low FODMAP (mostly fructans and galactans) due to inflammatory food sensitivities, and this place def saved me on the annual family vacation. The banana whips are unbelievably good, I even convinced the Kohr Bros fam to try it and we all agree it’s the same consistency as frozen custard! Lots of clearly labeled GF, vegetarian, or vegan options! The blueberry muffin (sveg) was delicious, great texture; the cinnamon bun (sveg) was dry but the the topping/frosting was delicious; the GF kaiser roll was super dry; smoothies and whips are amazing!“
