We received a $250.00 gift card that was purchased in September 2022. I attempted to use it in May 2023. The manager said it was under new ownership and would not honor my $250.00 gift card. The new ownership also owns Yesterday's and the Deauville Inn. After several emails to all restaurants over the summer, I finally got a call from a Chuck last week who said he was 3rd in command. I provided my gift card number and after a 10 minute discussion he said they would not honor the $250.00 gift card. My family has been a frequent guest at all the places since 1999 as we own a property in OCNJ since then. We will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward. I really feel this is a very poor business decision for a guest that has spent thousands of dollars at these restaurants.

Perfect family friendly spot with fresh delicious seafood and great helpful service. Went for lunch after we visited Misty Meadows Farm. The crab cake sandwiches and grilled mahi tacos were a hit. Also very accommodating to the gluten free member in our group.

Cool people, love the place but the flounder was all bread and the crab cake sandwiches were average twice in a row. I can't recommend spending hard earned money on it.

Really good food. Had the clam strips and they were fried just right. Was also treated to an incredible sunset after.

Sooo good. Most of our party got the lobster rolls and they were very pleased. I got the tacos, which were fantastic. Service was very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The outdoor seating is beautiful, even with a small amount of road noise from the highway.

Went for the first time last night. Food was good. Not great....good. loved the outside patio. Now I know prices have gone up for everything but, this place was ridiculously expensive for what you got. I don't mind paying a lot but that was not worth what it cost.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I am a regular at Obadiah's Seafood Market located in Mamora, right at the 34th St. bridge heading into Ocean City!First and foremost, the freshness of their fish was outstanding. They restock every day, ensuring that you get the finest selection of seafood. I was impressed by the variety they offered, and their assortment of sauces and spices made it a breeze to create a scrumptious dinner at home. The staff at Obadiah's Seafood Market were exceptionally attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, even providing ice with my seafood to keep it fresh on my drive home. They also had live crabs, and they were kind enough to break the back of the crabs for me, making it convenient and time-saving.Not only can you take the seafood home, but you can also enjoy a delightful meal at the market. On certain days, they offer an all-you-can-eat option, which is perfect for seafood enthusiasts like me. Oh, and don't worry if you're craving a drink with your meal – they do sell alcohol too.Overall, Obadiah's Seafood Market left a lasting impression on me. The freshness, variety, and excellent service make it a must-visit destination for seafood lovers. I highly recommend checking them out and indulging in the delectable seafood they have to offer! ???

We were really looking forward to some great quality seafood during our stay in Ocean City, how wrong could we have been. We picked up the $200 order as per the time specified, a little early if anything. We drove the 5 minutes back home to be faced with a stone cold meal. The "Hot Steamed Clams" could have only been colder if they were frozen and that unfortunately set the tone for the rest of it. The Lobster Roles were average at best and the Grilled Mahi Taco's were damp cardboard with something grey tasteless and rubbery on them which I assume was the Mahi. The accompanying fries were also freezing cold, I genuinely have no idea how you could get a meal this wrong or cold. They have got 2 stars because most of us thought the crab cake was quite nice. We felt very ripped off it was really disappointing, don't waste your time or your money.

We arrived on time to pick up our food, which was waiting for us at the counter. We arrived back at home about 5 minutes after picking it up and allfood was cold. There was nothing at all that had any warmth. Cold fries, crab cakes and calamari. The tuna tacos were devoid of taste. Avoid this place.

Ordered over $150 for take out. Mostly good except the lobster rolls. Not as advertised and not good. One scoop of lean lobster salad on a stale hot dog roll for $25. Total rip off and very disappointing. Not close to Deauville or Yesterday's standards. If you cannot do real lobster rolls, take it off the menu.

So delicious! Ordered grilled tuna steak, it came with just the right amount of tangy sauce and the fries were perfectly seasoned, so yummy! Also got an order of fried shrimp off the kids menu; even a couple hours after getting the food my son said it was really good! And the servers and cooks were so lovely ❤️

Service is absolutely wonderful. The food is also really good. There is also beautiful view.

Obadiah's: A Culinary Gem Marred by High Prices and Rude ManagementObadiah's, once a beloved seafood restaurant, seems to have recently changed hands, bringing both positive and negative transformations to the dining experience. While the food remains as delectable as ever, be prepared for a significant dent in your wallet. Sadly, the transition in ownership has also introduced a rather unpleasant and rude manager, whose behavior left a bitter taste in our mouths.Let's start with the positives: the cuisine at Obadiah's continues to impress. The seafood dishes are still prepared with finesse, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Each bite is an explosion of flavors that will satisfy even the most discerning palates. The chefs deserve applause for their culinary expertise, as the dishes reflect a commitment to quality and creativity. However, it's disheartening to report that Obadiah's has become noticeably expensive. What was once an affordable dining option has now transformed into a splurge-worthy indulgence. Prepare yourself for a hefty bill if you plan to enjoy a meal here, as the prices may catch you off guard.Yet, the most disappointing aspect of our visit was the manager's behavior. In the past, Obadiah's was a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) establishment, and unfortunately, the change in ownership was not adequately communicated to patrons. This lack of information resulted in an unpleasant encounter with the manager. Instead of addressing the situation with understanding and empathy, she displayed outright rudeness, literally kicking us out after we had already placed our orders and were waiting. Her treatment of us was unacceptable and left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. It's regrettable that such a fantastic dining experience has been tarnished by high prices and an unpleasant manager. While the food at Obadiah's remains noteworthy, the exorbitant costs and rude behavior overshadow the positives. Until these issues are addressed, it may be wise to explore other seafood restaurants in the area that offer a more balanced experience of excellent cuisine and respectful service.
