We make a trip to The Village Kitchen every year—both on our way to Cape May, NJ and on the way back—and it never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is just as excellent. This cozy spot is a hidden gem for breakfast and lunch. The chipped beef, in particular, is absolutely outstanding—easily one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommended!
This place is amazing! Very cute family oriented diner. Our server Lauren, was very attentive, kind, and efficient with our service at Village Kitchen. All of the staff were very pleasant and kind that I interacted with. My family’s food came out exactly as we requested, was served fast and was super delicious, like, the best cream chipped beef I’ve had in a while. 5/5 stars across the board!
We were in town for a week in Ocean View NJ, so I looked up reviews online for a good breakfast place and this came up. Cute little restaurant. Go early, because it got busy fast. The food is excellent and the wait staff is friendly and it doesnt matter who takes your order anyone who walked by our table asked if we needed anything. Very impressed! Highly recommended.
