I ordered a Bagel with Salmon, but there was almost no salmon at all—just a couple of tiny pieces. They still charged me the full price, which feels like a scam. After this, I looked at their reviews and saw many other customers were also unhappy. Clearly, I’m not the first person to complain about their food and service. Very disappointing place.
I even went back to show them how little salmon was on my bagel, and they told me this is “normal” — only three slices on a bagel. This is not my first time having a salmon bagel, and I know that’s not how it should be.

Bagel Factory Cafe in Matawan is hands down one of the best spots around. The bagels are always fresh, the coffee is perfect, and the whole place has such a welcoming vibe. What really stood out was the amazing service—Ameel took great care of us, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, he made the experience even better. Definitely my go-to cafe from now on!

Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and got this pathetic excuse for a bagel. Stop letting the owner make the orders and leave it up to the workers. They do it right and don't pinch pennies on every little ounce of cream cheese.

What compelled me to write this review was being given a croissant with sausage after ordering an everything bagel with pork roll. This is the first time in my time going here they've ever mixed up an order. The receipt given to me even said 'everything with pork roll' on it, so I have no idea how this mistake was made. Admittedly it was a pretty good sandwich, but a mix-up this bad has turned me off the location completely.
