Been coming here for over 15 years - back when it was a family-run business. Recently, ordered bagels with lox and feel ripped off. There is now a tomato and only 2 slices of lox. The tomato is actually a nice touch, but that's a lot of money for a tomato sandwich and a layer of lox. Not what I expected and certainly not worth the money.

Best bagels in the area by far. Makes a lot of “best bagel” lists for a reason. Breakfast sandwiches are top notch. The line can get rather long and sometimes feels unorganized. You just gotta go with the flow when ordering and waiting. It’s worth the wait!

Just wanted a bagel not toasted with butter. This is what they gave me. It was slimey and wet. They said it was because they just came Out of the oven, but… it feels like the bagel was microwaved tbh.
The people who work there are nice but don’t lie to me about a bagel.
The second photo is what they gave me in the end, which they called a cold bagel.. I’ve lived in Jersey for 18 years and then moved to the city. Never have seen this happen and I have had excellent, fresh bagels.

We love this place. My husband went there for 18 bialys as we were bringing them down to relatives living in an area where they never heard of a bialy. They only had a few left but immediately said - no problem- and in 15 minutes had our order done - 18 delicious and warm bialys!

This place has been my go-to for years and has always been 5 stars for me. I still love coming here, however they have gotten very inconsistent 😔 Some days I have very big, fluffy great bagels and other days they are completely flat. Then, today, I got an egg everything and it was severely undercooked and I couldn’t even eat it. A friend of mine has gotten their egg everything’s twice in a row now and both times they were also undercooked. I just wish they could become more consistent again and do something about their egg everything’s since it used to be my favorite. Otherwise the taste of their bagels are great and their scallion cream cheese is amazing

Had lunch next door and saw this store so wanted to try it. It was 2:55 and they close at 3:00 so they told us grill was closed. Asked about the bagels and how big the sandwich was. No one spoke English and just kept saying they were closed. We finally did get a bagel to take home. Not worth the attitude. There are so many other bagel stores in the area really don't need rude people. I will stick with Bagel Talk who has really great service and food. Their bagels were pretty good if you like crispy outer crust. Their French Toast Bagel is very interesting and worth a try.

They used to be the best around. I've ordered from them now 3x and the sandwiches are not the same. Less product and it shows. I don't think I'll be back.

I went yesterday and today and I saw a Spanish guy from the kitchen (probably helper of chef) in same red shirt like every day, that guy stinks, let’s make a charity funds for him and buy him a detergent and softener for his red T-shirt.
Good food but terribly rude owner. I now give my business to Bagel Time, right down the road. They have no issue giving an estimate pickup time without being rude & condescending about it.

Employees don't speak English and routinely get orders wrong. I have multiple times ordered a sandwich on an egg bagel but have never actually gotten one when I open the sandwich at work. I just waited 15 minutes today and walked out because I never got my food. Almost late to work over a stupid bacon egg and cheese. Too many great bagel places in town to waste your money here.
