Came at 5 PM even though they’re listed as open until 9. They don’t stick to their posted hours, so be prepared to be turned away if they decide they’re “done for the day.” Didn’t try the food, unreliable hours alone are enough for me not to return.

The food may be good but not accommodating when I was on my bike with saddlebags. The lady was not very nice and could not accommodate me with a container that would not spill when put on it side. I think I could've figured that out if I was working there. I guess they don't want my business I will not be back. all you would have to do is put it in a plastic bag and wrap it tight I've done it before.

Super friendly staff and the food was incredible! Everything was so tasty. Definitely one of the best Korean spots I’ve been to. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Don’t think, just go! This establishment deserves all of its flowers and then some! I’ve had a fair share of Korean cuisine in the States — including high-end Michelin rated restaurants in NYC and the typical Korean fare often found suburbs. I’ve made my own Korean food. But nothing compares to the kindest server/host who takes your order and makes you feel at home immediately when you step in, showers you with lovingly prepared banchan (Korean side dishes), and envelops your taste buds and senses with expertly prepared food from what feels like her own home kitchen.
The Korean fried chicken rivals, if not bests, the quality and flavor of the chicken in Osamil — crispy light exterior that shatters in one bite with a flavor explosion of savory, sticky sauce and tender chicken. I would love to see a soy and/or garlic based sauce one day, but this one was excellent!
The beef (meat) jeon is something I never had before — a delightfully marinated bulgogi fillet enveloped in a light eggy crepe-like batter that blew my mind. How could something so seemingly simple remind me of a banquet style roast duck?
And the kimbap — just a perfect fresh Korean-sushi package affectionally made for your perfect bite.
I will most definitely be coming back, for the food and the hospitality!!

Simply tasty food and very kind service. What makes it special is that their sauces and flavors have a unique touch to them, not just fresh, as if there’s an extra layer of flavor. Give it a try and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was pretty decent and portions were good. The banchan (side dishes) were varied and great. Overall we had a good time. We used to live in Hawaii so we were excited about Hawaiian style Korean food.
HOWEVER we were pretty SHOCKED when we paid.
This restaurant adds roughly 25% on top of your subtotal — a 20% service charge plus 5% for using a debit card. This is for little neighborhood spot in a NJ strip mall, this is outrageous.
This is not Aloha.

Delicious food! Lots of sides. Korean BBQ chicken is too good. It's on the sweeter side.

One of the best pork bulgogi I've ever had! Definitely going to be my new go-to BBQ joints! The mac salad is fantastic as well.

Fried chicken is delicious! Best in the area so far.
Edit:
Food still good. BUT, today when I dined in, they tried to charge me 20% automatic service charge, which is not announced beforehand or presented anywhere in the store. Background knowledge: there was no waiter/waitress, the owner brought our food and water. The OWNER wanted me to tip her for her service, which is absolutely insane and unreasonable to me. As the owner, you are making profits for selling your food already, and a tip is for underpaid waiters/waitresses to make up for their living wage. The most unacceptable thing in this unpleasant encounter was that when I argued about it, the owner blatantly rolled her eyes at me like I was the crazy one (yeah lady, I saw that). I am very disappointed in how the owner behaved today, and probably wont return in the future, not even for take-outs.
