I used to order from here years ago when I lived in old bridge, that was about 7 years ago. Being back in jersey i came by for a pie, new owners since that time and these guys are much better. The place is clean & neat, i also appreciate being greeted when i visit the location. I will say even though everyone there is great and they all do make good food, so far Mustafa seems to be the most seasoned gentleman there, he makes the best pizza out of everyone so far.
There are a lot of names for bread & the inside but for the sake of the post i will stick to English descriptions only. The crust is always very thick and full but only when i have an order made by Mustafa. I love bread and that makes the crust my favorite part of the pizza, the inside of the crust when Mustafa makes my order is always thick and soft inside, you could actually pull it out if you wanted & eat it in pieces.
I actually just tried the Garlic 5 cheese crust pizza they have, it is a new pie so i figured i would try it.
I got this pizza to the car and i always check my food when i get it, Mustafa was working so i know its going to be good but this was even better than his usual, the large pie of this was great, i felt like i needed to get another one for everyone else to try at home so i just ordered a second pizza before i left .
Honestly they are all great people in there i do love this location now with the new owners but definitely i have to be honest, Mustafa does makes a thicker and fluffy pie.

The worst Papa John’s chain location. We drove over 15 mins to pick up our order and they gave us the wrong order. When I called to complain instead of saying sorry the guy hung up the phone on me. Therefore, I called again for the refund on my credit card through the app and never gotten. This location deserves 0 star. The order we got was two pepperoni pizza and it barely had any cheese on. Do NOT waste your money here!

Watched a spinning pizza claiming “SEE YOU SOON,” for an hour. I live literally 8 blocks away from the restaurant. How is it possible? One pizza, on the way for an hour, when I could’ve literally walked to the store and back.
John, here’s some advice, don’t say “it’s on the way,” when it’s clearly “lost its way.” What did the driver take the pizza out on a hot date? Hope she tasted good.

One of the best locations i have ever been to. This location makes the pizza so thick & fluffy you will not find a better crust anywhere around. The people here are very friendly & there is never a wait, by the time you show up for pickup the food is always ready.

I ordered and the new Outsourcing, Private Equity Grub Hub owners screwed me but the manager and possibly owner was super helpful and patient and answered the phone in a timely manner. The driver was polite and quiet like I asked and I owe him a tip for next time. It takes a team to make a restaurant work, and we need to shift to a system of living wages for all human beings in the US of A, Finally. Excelled experience. Years ago Middletown made me hate Papa John's. I do hate the CEO's right-wing politics, but if this is a Franchise, I think I may order there again.

Hi guys be very careful buying from PapaJohn's because I order a medium Cheese Pizza which was $17+ cents. But when I came home find out if you order by phone you'll get the regular prize of Pizza but if you order it from online it it be $8.99 for a large size Pizza. I called the Matawan papajohn's Pizza people he was very rude and very unprofessional 😕🫤

I ordered a NY style pizza and when I got home that pizza was not a NY style pizza and half of the pizza did not have cheese on it. I called them up and the manager told me he was going to text me something to get another pizza because I did not eat it it was dry no cheese and I wasted my $12 he never text me anything so I waited until the next day nothing it was Labor Day Weekend so I was not home and I called on Monday Labor Day and the manager who was there was very nasty and told me to order again because he was not going to give me anything so I told him why would I pay another $12 when I didn’t eat the other one for $12 o told him I was calling corporate and he told me well call them. Very unprofessional disgusting and rude and I will call whoever I need to to report them
