Mom’s review: We moved to Matawan in 2020 and discovered Round pie shortly after. We’ve eaten here at a minimum once a week- the absolute best pizza on the East Coast. Can’t go wrong with any of the slices or wraps. Also, do yourself a favor and always get some fries on the side. They’re addicting. You’re welcome.

The worst pizza I ever had. The crust was burnt at the edges. Barely any cheese. Did not taste like pizza at all. It's a chain so what could I expect. It was late and I was hungry. I noticed the pizza dough was sitting in the back. They put a thin layer of cheese. The sauce is horrible. Never again.

Wow. It’s the Best tasting pizza I’ve had in a long time. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant attentive and took my order. Excellent. I found this place by luck on route 34 in Matawan.

Round pie is my go to lunch spot for pizza by the slice when working from home. Their selection is fantastic and the ingredients are great. My only complaint is the sized of their slices and how they vary. Paying full price for a tiny slice is mildly annoying and would like to see some consistency here.In my attached photo, the larger slice on the right (artichoke), is smaller than your average slice found in this area, while the other slice on the left (white slice) was tiny. This is a standard size plate, and 2 slices from most places over hang the plate by a wide margin.
