I do not recommend this restaurant. It's family owned and operated, therefore they do not care or have respect for the customers. The service is terrible. The people who take orders are extremely rude and condescending. If you're looking for a nice and pleasant restaurant with decent service. It is best to steer clear of this please. The staff here will definitely ruin your, mood, appetite and cause frustration.

Quality of the food is good. The price is reasonable. The service, terrible. The server/order taker extremely rude beyond belief, and I'm sure they don't really care for the customer. Terrible experience. Not entirely sure how they get 4 stars.

Authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. Water and tea are self-serving. We ordered Sweet & Sour Pork Chop, Seafood Rice Cakes and Mapo Tofu with pork, all were delicious. Will try something different next time.
Parking: Tuesday around 1pm, plenty of parking.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Chinese food. It’s a small, family-run spot where the dishes are packed with flavor, satisfying, and super affordable. The owner and staff are genuinely kind and work hard to make sure you enjoy your meal.
The space is simple—think hole-in-the-wall vibes—but don’t let that fool you. The food is top-notch, and you can tell they put a lot of love into every dish. Their steamed pork dumplings, sautéed green beans, and Mongolian beef are absolute must-tries, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Places like this are rare these days, and they don’t always stick around forever. It’s not about frills or flashy service—it’s about heartfelt cooking and sharing great food with the community. So, if you’re in the area, drop by. Whether you eat in or grab takeout, you’re supporting a hardworking family and treating yourself to some incredible food.

Didn't go in ordered through door dash. One of the worst sesame chickens I've ever had. The dumplings were fine. Fried rice was also fine.

Always a great meal. I’ve been coming here for what seems like a decade with my family and friends to enjoy a nice authentic meal. Favorite restaurant

Food is VERY hit or miss. Some items are more tasty than others. Overall food quality is better some days than others. We have probably ordered food from here 5 times and been disappointed 3 out of 5 times now. Those odds aren't good enough for us to reorder again, especially considering the price.

Super bummed with our lunch delivery today.... The quality in our meal was really bad..... Nothing seemed fresh tasting, hot, or seasoned appropriately.... I think this may be our last time ordering from here.... Time to find something better in this area.

Best Chinese I had by far here after 4 years

I recently moved to matawan and just wanted to get some Chinese takeout for dinner. This place blew me away. It’s giving my mom makes the best dumplings you have to come over and try them. Even the details like putting the wontons for my soup in a separate container so they didn’t get soggy. They have guava juice in a can which is amazing too and soup dumplings. Im looking forward to being a regular.

Came in excited to try dim sum items, especially the soup dumplings. The most edible item wound up being an egg roll. Very inattentive service for dine in patrons as well. The one positive is hot tea on tap.

I wanted to love this place after reading reviews about how great it was. Food was awful. I got the fried buns, shumai, shredded beef, a lo mein. None of it was edible. How do you screw up lo mein? I guess the extremely stale fortune cookies should have given me an idea of how bad the food was gonna be. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. If you insist on ordering here, I told ya so!
