The food was excellent until I received my garlic mashed. It was mashed potatoes with raw chopped garlic thrown on top. Absolutely disgusting! As an Executive Chef that was embarrassing to see.

Flaming Chorizo for an appy, which we both enjoyed. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese for dinner, which I liked. And my wife had Chicken Parm, which she loves. They only had one IPA: Fiddlehead, which I don't love. And the Margarita was $14 and not very good. I was tempted to deduct a star because of the drinks, but the bartenders were great, so I decided not to. We sat at the bar, which I prefer. My wife was not completely comfortable on the chair. My complaints are meant to be suggestions. I will be back.

Service , atmosphere and food was great, BUT at the end the server was SNOBBY ABOUT HER TIP and came after us in the parking lot asking for a tip that she didn’t see we had left cash on the table..embarrassing & messed it up BIG TIME! ;(

My parents found Pine Tavern to be their new regular spot for the past few years. I’m blown away by the variety of food they have and they’re sure to have something for everyone. We’ve never had a bad experience or bad food here and highly recommend the paella, pappardella and the cuts of meat are excellent. This is one of my favorite places to get a skirt steak in New Jersey.Thank you for the excellent food and service! We will always be back here, 10/10!

I've been here a few times and it's alway been ok. Not bad, not great, ok. Tonight after having apps and drinks I ordered a pork dish to go. Got home and see that they gave me instant mashed potatoes. Come on now. No excuse and just plain lazy for any chef for any restaurant. The pork dish, not bad..

Went on a Sunday afternoon. We were a party of 3. Grilled octopus appetizer was good. Our entrees included frutti de mare and chicken and sausage in a brown gravy were delicious. Service was good. A nice atmosphere included a large square bar. A good experience.
