“Came here off the turnpike for takeout. Loved it! Writing the review so I remember to come back. I’ve spent some time in South India and restaurants in the US serving that style of food with fresh ingredients and that special, complex flavor can be hard to find. Ordered the medhu vada, onion masala dosa, tomato curry, and saag paneer. All were great! Word of caution: they are using India-worthy spice levels, so the mediums my spice-loving teenager and husband ordered were more than they bargained for!”

“My second time here. Beautiful stop on our motorcycle ride. Food was Great. I don't know anywhere in NJ to get better bbq. The only thing that makes you want to come back more than the food are the people who run it. The cook came out to our table to chat and make sure we liked the food. The waiter was super friendly as well. It's a road side stand with picnic tables and I haven't been treated as well as this as a customer even by sit down dinner restaurants in my life. Great people great food great spot to relax. Go try it.”

“We held a bridal shower at Valenzano, at the Shamong location, in October and from beginning to end it was am amazing experience. Mary assisted us with planning, picking the space, and selecting the menu and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, space barely needed any decorating, and the bride, bridal party, and guests were extremely satisfied.”
