I really enjoy grabbing a bite to eat and a drink at Braddock's. I have tried the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos off the brunch menu. Both were really good, but I enjoyed the tacos more. They had a great balance of flavors and spice. Even without sour cream, the tacos weren't dry. I tried the dirty chai at my last visit. It was quite strong and didn't hit the coffee flavors I was looking for, but it was still good. I will try the salted caramel espresso martini on my next visit. The staff is excellent. Fast, attentive, and super friendly. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and charming. This is quickly becoming a favorite.

Despite the white tablecloths this is not the Braddock’s anyone remembers. For us that means it is no longer a place to bring treasured guests. Same charming building, with essentially the same interior, but the feel is more like they are trying to be an Ott’s, PJ Whelihan’s or Dooney’s, but without as strong a food game. The menu reads pub’ish without any of the classic Braddock’s options of old. Strange that the only steak option was a combo (Land & Sea). Braised Short Rib was bland (roast beef-like). Friends visiting from Boston liked their shrimp tacos and mac-n-cheese. Cheesesteak egg rolls were Meh.

We did not imbibe but the drinks looked great and people were visibly enjoying themselves.

For a Staurday night the dining area was not packed, the bar was. I can see why. Perhaps that is the new Braddock’s.

The one word most suitable: Lackluster.

I had dinner on 11-24, which was my first visit in 5 years. Although the atmosphere cannot be beaten, I found the service to be slow, and food to be overpriced and underwhelming. Simply put, Braddock’s is not what it once was.

We were at Braddock's Tavern for a fund raiser comedy night. There was a two item minimum. Braddock's is a lovely restaurant, and I was under the mistaken impression that we would have many menu choices.
We had to stand in a long line for the bar, and at the bar there was a comedy night menu consisting of a few appetizers, a salad and short rib sliders.
We ordered the sliders, which arrived barely warm and fatty.
I wasn't expecting a full menu, but this was sad for a restaurant.
We enjoyed the comedy, and the fundraiser was a good cause. But next time I would eat beforehand and order two drinks instead of ordering there.

“Would definitely come back to this place!”

“DELICIOUS DINNER! We ordered the Steak egg rolls for apps and salmon and ravioli dinners. All were absolutely delicious. Our server, was super attentive, on top of it and funny. She made the experience perfect. She brought out the food all at the same time and she went above and beyond. Would definitely come back to this place!”

We went for a Sunday brunch. The food definitely was not bad, but also left a lot to be desired. I also felt it was extremely overpriced, especially the drinks.

The BLT is not actually a BLT.. which would have been nice to know prior to ordering. It was decent; but extremely dry with no L or T. I had several questions for my server who seemed unable to answer and advised she was unfamiliar with the menu and unable to confirm a few things. I asked a few questions on how the chicken and waffle sandwich was (if it was fingers or a cutlet) and questioned if I could sub the breakfast potatoes instead of French fries. If you don’t know, go ask someone. I took a chance and got the chicken and waffle sandwich. I do have to say, out of the table of food, the chicken and waffle was the best. The breakfast potatoes are nothing more than the frozen squared kind with no seasoning. Waffle was a little soggy and not quite that crisp Belgium waffle I was hoping for.

The breakfast burrito was reportedly good, just a bit too much of a smokey flavor. The fish tacos were good as well, but presentation looked skimp. All in all, it was about a 3/5 for an extremely high price point. Server was nice nonetheless, but the server should make it a point to check in on their tables once the food comes, not just when we’re finished. The food was dropped and she didn’t check in until she saw we were finished.

We did restaurant week and unfortunately was not really over the top. Always enjoyed eating here, but their restaurant week unfortunately was a little bland. Looking forward to next time!

My husband and I had a lovely brunch here yesterday. The food was very good. We sat inside in the charming dining room. Our waitress was very friendly and professional.

What a disaster
Came for buck a shuck. They were out!!!!
Dinner menu is more like a bar menu. No daily specials ????
I got meatloaf for 26$ It tasted like dried oregano and that’s all!!!! Gross and no gravy. Also had cold and I will repeat cold fingerling potatoes. And no vegetable for 26$ WTH it’s meatloaf and not local raised beef.
Our other dish was the Eggplant tower that wasn’t a tower. It was tough , flavorless and just bad. Smothered in cheap mozzarella , yes I know good from bad cheese.
The server tired tooo hard and yet was still not good. Maybe less pretentiousness and more sincere care about the food.
What a disaster …… one and done.
