Tried them out at a food festival and decided to visit the actual restaurant.I’d like to see them expand their space and also wish they were open more days of the week but other than that the food was excellent! Even my mom enjoyed her food and she’s quite hard to please. Honorable mentions include the catfish, hush puppies, soft shell crab po boy, and bread pudding.

As a chef, in my opinion the food was fresh but I don't feel it's very authentic, I can say for sure the Beignets weren't, UNLESS different parishes have different methods, but mine were very thick, dense, and cake like. And honestly it seemed like the same batter that the peach cobbler dough was made of. Also I had a single soft shell crab, and my partner had the platter which came with 2. My single crab was the smallest one served at the table. I just feel if a guest orders a single crab, he should get one nice appealing crab.

Found a gem here!
There isn’t much variety in this area apart from American, Italian, Indian or Asian food, so this place really brings a refreshing new option. Louisiana soul food.

The portions are large for the price and the menu variety is impressive.

The staff are friendly and very attentive always asking if you enjoyed the food and refilling without having to be asked.

I was especially impressed by their dedication to the decor, it’s clearly a small mom and pop business but they have done a wonderful job of bringing the south to south jersey by beautifully decorating the rooms with New Orleans magic.
That’s level of effort really warrants a visit.

So drop by, try great food, get the Mardi Gras, and meet some great people.

I advise the alligator and jambalaya.

Our first time here and it was fantastic. Our host Debbie was gracious and attentive. We had Oysters, Gumbo, a dinner special, chicken, shrimp and sausage pastalyna and the Short rib. Large portions so we brought home food. Did not try the desserts but will go back soon and try a beignet. Highly recommend.

Authentic and delicious. Not a fancy place, but entirely NoLa with Mardi Gras masks decorating the walls. Good luck deciding what to eat from the incredibly tasty dishes on the menu. You'll have to go again and again and you'll think you're in Nawlins!!

I was very excited when I saw the menu because everything looked delicious. Unfortunately the oven wasn’t working correctly and the devil crab was not warm. We sent it back and waited about Eight minutes and it was still not warned up properly, but at that point, we just ate it anyway. The charred oyster appetizer was delicious. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve Compensated us in someway, but they didn’t. I was hoping this is gonna be my next go to Restaurant because I love seafood. .

CrawDaddy’s Cajun is hands down one of the BEST food trucks I’ve ever been to! The flavors are bold, authentic, and full of that real Louisiana soul. I tried the Loaded Seafood Gumbo, and it was absolutely to die for – perfectly seasoned, packed with shrimp, crab, crawfish, and fish, and served piping hot. Every bite was rich and comforting, just like a true Cajun gumbo should be.

The rest of the menu looks just as tempting – from the Gator Bites to the Jambalaya and Po-Boys, you can tell they’ve put real love into these recipes. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are generous for the price.

If you’re at the Medford food trucks, do yourself a favor and stop at CrawDaddy’s Cajun. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

I have worked professionally around food for thirty years.. I am a big home cook..

The food here was excellent... Well seasoned, it's authentic.. It's loaded full of ingredients.. The gumbo had giant chunks of crab.. And shrimp... I had fried oysters that we're absolutely superb!!

Cute small place with great staff, with nice size portions however overall it leaves a lot to be desired.

The food was an attempt at Louisiana staples but fell a little short. The gumbo, and shrimp etouffee were both very salty. Inedible in fact due to high amount of salt. The gumbo lacked depth of flavor. The shrimp etouffee had much better flavor but still slightly underwhelming and again salty.

You should be able to taste the onions and peppers celery etc in Louisiana Cajun cuisine. However you couldn’t and it was just a little confusing and disappointing.

The bbq shrimp appetizer also was very disappointing, the shrimp had no flavor, the sauce was not great and some the shrimp were mushy along their back. The shrimp didn’t taste spoiled but something was amiss.

The beignets were undercooked and raw in the center and were nothing like the beignets served in Louisiana.

The Good:

The soft shell crab had good flavor, as well as the hush puppies, and greens.

After taking the left overs home and letting them sit for a few days the flavors improved and the rice soaked up that extra salt which made the food better.

Perhaps the chef was off this night or there has been a changed in the kitchen. Other reviews have claimed this place to be great but unfortunately for our experience it was lack luster.

Maybe we will try again in the future but until the kitchen lowers the amount of sodium in some of the options I will be hesitant on attempting anytime soon.

The PoBoys and other fried options looked great and smell great as the passed our table. When we go back we will definitely try those options next.
