This is a tough review to leave for I’ve been a regular at the Flying W pool for 10 years, even a season holder for some of those . I can’t go to bed not speaking up about a serious matter with the lifeguards. I would never forgive myself if something happened to a visitor and I didn’t go public with this. This season I’ve visited around 8 times this far and find it disturbing with the lifeguard’s use of their phones! Today I watched a lifeguard sit on her knees, looking down, watching her phone and not looking up ONCE for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I walked over and told her to get off her phone, she legitimately removed her AirPods to hear me and was watching a SHOW!!! I complained about the exact lifeguard 3 weeks ago for being on the phone excessively and leaving constantly. To make matters worse she’s not the only one. If something happens to anyone at this pool, please know myself, and others have spoken up to the lifeguards directly, and management about the lifeguard issues. I hope this helps show the severity of the problem!!!!

Pro Tip: don’t bring a cooler or if you do just keep it in your car and go back and forth.
Amazing plane shaped pool on an airstrip where you can watch private planes come and go while floating in the water.
They have a snack shack and bar with live music or a dj.
Family friendly and lots of fun.

Love how you can be swimming in the pool live music is Playing on the gazebo,, Different venues happening at one time some people could be celebrating a birthday party Under the promenade, Others could be in a wedding under the tent. Somebody could be in the restaurant eating dinner at the bar could be at the snack bar volleyball game could be going on. Very relaxing atmosphere, which is nice children meet new friends and enjoy the pool

Parking lot is excellent and well Laird out. Staff at entrance are always friendly and reasonable. Food quality is quite good as far as ingredients go, though a bit lacking in flavor. Their beverage selection is very good. I really like the grass they added as it really gives a feeling of being on vacation. The lounge chairs for sunbathing are really nice. I liked the classic rock and surf bands that played. I have returned several times and look forward to the 2024 season.
We absolutely love the atmosphere here! Always a good time for both small kids, teenagers, and adults!

This place is TRASH, the OLD lady who put the wrist bands on, is TRASH! Who touches somebody to take a wrist band off because it’s over packed.. the old TRASH lady. I will personally make sure NONE of my family members, friends and anyone else I talk too never come to this place ever again; for a birthday, a day for fun, NOTHING! Such a TRASH place
