Overcooked, overpriced and over processed lame BBQ. Very small portions. Terrible and slow service. Pass this one by.
We ordered the LARGE PARTY PACK (Feeds 16-18) from the catering menu. Well, the smoked meat and sausage were delicious but certainly not enough for 16-18 people as advertised. We had 8 at our event and there was not enough food! The Baked beans and Mac and cheese were gone before everyone had a single spoonful. We did have enough of the Garden salad and Collard greens though. We ran out of sausage and had only 3 ribs leftover, plus only a scoop of pulled pork with a couple pieces of chicken in the end. Again, only 8 people were eating and we ran out of some items (no leftovers). Like I stated earlier, the food was delicious but the quantity was a bit light. LARGE PARTY PACK (Feeds 16-18) 212.99 3 Full-Slabs of Ribs, 5 lbs. Pork, Chicken, Turkey, and/or Sausage, 1 Quart Each of 4 Sides, 16 Bun
Excellent pulled pork. Potato salad was very good as well.
BEST GOBBLER I'VE EVER HAD.
The turkey was plentiful and smoked perfectly. Stuffing and gravy were excellent- didn't "need" anything.
Best ever, hands down. Well done?

Don’t go near closing time, extremely dry chicken, cold brisket, nice kids working there but the food isn’t good at all.
Always great food. Service very efficient and friendly

Food was delicious! I had pulled chicken with mac and cheese, potato salad and corn bread. The atmosphere is so nice, you can dine inside or outside. The restaurant is open to the outside dining area. They have 6 bbq sauces at the table to try. I love the type of blues/country music playing. I will be back!

Had a great time at the Aug 11th Blues, brews and BBQ day. Double G Blues Band provided the blues, they were very good! Got a few Chido, Mexican Lagers from King's Road. Awesome on a hot summer day. Whole Hog served up some delicious wings and ribs to fills us up. And can't forget a couple of cones from PeeWee's to cap the day off! Hoping they do this event again next year!
Had a great lunch at Whole Hog! Had a 4 rib platter with Mac & Cheese and cornbread. A pulled pork sandwich and a 10 piece dry rub wing order. Everything was delicious, very reasonably priced. What makes it even better is you can take out the food to the brewery next door! Staff was very friendly, food came out fast and hot! Will certainly be back!

I've eaten at whole hog many times over the years. The best meal I've had was barely 4 stars. And the worst, a solid 2. (Think reheated leftovers.) Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if every thing was being prepared in bulk at a commissary. Then shipped, and reheated at this location.
So if you're craving great BBQ.
This isn't the place for you.

Tried Whole Hog twice and both experiences were awful. The first time I tried ribs, which were dried like jerky. A whole rack of ribs was only the size of my hand. The second time I tried their brisket which was dry and stale. The meat looked sickly gray and tasted like it had been made days earlier and then microwaved. I really wanted to like this place because its local, but it is literally the WORST barbecue I've ever had.
We utilized Whole Hog Cafe's catering menu for a nearby event and everything worked out (and tasted) perfectly. Cannot wait to go back.
