Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. So authentic. Went with a group of 6 for a family dinner. We ordered from every page on the menu and each was more delicious than the next! Will definitely be back.
Best authentic Chinese food in the area. Workers are very friendly, warm atmosphere, highly recommend this place!
I went there last night for a friends birthday and my boyfriend and I arrived last, and there was a misunderstanding with the seating arrangements, and the whole party was at one table and there wasn't any room for us, so we sat at a table next to them. It seemed like the service was all going to the main party table, and barely any to us. For example, they had water right away, and I had to ask twice for it. Also they all received their food first. They had to ask us several times what we ordered before it actually came out. And appetizers came out after the main entrees. It also seemed as if there was a misunderstanding with the bill, everyone wanted separate checks but I think they originally put everything on one bill and then split it after which took some time. As for the food, the pork fried rice and fried dumplings were really good, but the gen tso chicken was just ok, the sauce was really sweet. My boyfriend also didn't like the chicken wings. I'm not sure if I would return, and if I did it would be with a much smaller party and I would probably not order the general tso chicken again.
Food is ok . But service is trash . I get charged a different price everytime i go . Last Time he charged me 14$ extra . And I showed him prove on my card history that i always get the same thing but his greed didn’t let him see clearly . ON TOP OF THAT THE 14 extra dollars they charged me for shrimp and the shrimp was rotten . 50 $ meal . Just to go in the trash . I was so upset I didn’teven want to walk back in there and deal with no ignorance and attitudes.
Crazy good food. Some exotic (for me) dishes that I've been trying . Not always a perfect fit for me, but I love experimenting.
The food, the service, very quiet place to enjoy your food, very delicious, Excellent on everything, very happy!. Thank you
El ambiente es tranquilo y agradable, la comida es deliciosa.
This is an incredible find for vegetarians. The owner is very kind and willing to customize many menu items to be vegetarian that normally are not. I have eaten great meals here! Vegetarian “Happy Fish” and a vegetarian version of the “Griddle” meals are both top notch if you are a fan of spicy food. Also the vegetable dumplings in chili oil are fantastic. Could not recommend this place more to people who love that authentic sichuan numbing taste!
The only authentic game in town, I might cry if they ever close. I grew up in Edison where excellent Sichuan food is common, but this is the only option within miles of Hamilton; I'm so grateful they're here. Nice people too! I have a huge sour tooth where most people's sweet tooth would be so I'm OBSESSED with their duck with pickled radish soup. It's a lovely clear broth that's about as sour as it gets. I ask for pickled hot peppers added to also satisfy my spice cravings and while I would completely understand being charged extra, they never have.
All their other pickled vegetable soups also hit the spot for me, as do their hot and sour sweet potato noodles (the noodles are not sweet) and minced pork with pickled green beans. Dishes that aren't sour but I still thoroughly enjoy include the wontons in chili vinaigrette, cumin lamb, string beans, and their ma po tofu is solid. Keep in mind lots of oil is standard for authentic Sichuan food. My husband prefers sweeter, more Americanized Chinese staples, of which they also have tons of choices; he gravitates to their chicken and broccoli and fried rice. They are a great choice for families or friends with varying tastes.
Small criticism: their hot and sour soup is more miss than hit, though every so often it's wonderful and you won't find a better price anywhere. At $4/quart I mean that literally.
Thanks to Szechuan House for being a rare gem around here and the much appreciated generosity with the pickled hot peppers! ❤️

Had a sit down once and the house reminded me of the restaurants in Brooklyn from the 60’s. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Have ordered takeout and the food does not disappoint. The scallion pancakes and spring rolls are perfect.

Awesome customer service !!! 👍👍👍👍👍 The fish and string beans is excellent 👍👍👍👍👍. The chicken with peppers was salty 👎👎👎👎👎. The waiter told me that it had bell pepper, but in reality, it was hot peppers 👎👎👎👎👎. Will never ever order that again.

It was our second time here and we met the host who was amazing. She told us all about the history of the place as we waited for our order. We got the House Lo Mein, dumplings and fried rice.
She also threw in a small serving of their house hot sauce. It is extremely spicy and we loved it.
