We're always pleased with the selection, freshness and service!
They are located inside route 68 farmers market right next to the dollar store

Smell the product before buying! I just bought tiger shrimp. Brought it home and had to immediately throw it away. It is still stinking the house. We would have been sick all night. Sorry, can’t purchase again.

I started buying fish from this place a few months back, haven't really had a problem until today. I bought a couple of fish and a bag of mussels last week. At the time they took quite a while getting the fish cleaned, as I went around the store, did some shopping then came back, still had to wait for that to finish, and there wasn't anyone before me. I felt a little odd but couldn't make out anything until I cooked the fish - one fish tasted mostly bitter, and other part of it bitter. So the cleaner knew he popped the gallbladder, must have been spending time trying to wash it off, but he still put the two together. Then it's the mussels from Canada. After cleaning out, and throwing out the obvious dead ones, the resulting soup still smelled. I went back to the trash and looked at Best By date on the bag, it was 5 days ago (the harvest date was much earlier). That likely explained it. I went back to them today to give them a feedback, not even trying to get a refund (I told the lady so), but her attitude surprised me. She first said it's normal to have some dead mussels in the bag (But ones I bought elsewhere never had the same problem), I then pointed out the date on the mussels they were still selling (now about 2 weeks past the expiration date). Then she claimed she has never seen the gallbladder popped before (calling me a liar basically), instead of apologizing, she turned her back and went to talk to the cleaner. Then never came back. I left after 3 minutes of being left all by myself. This type of attitude is appalling. I won't buy from them again. I hope noone else will be treated the same or worse. Look at the expiration date on any frozen product they sell.

Red snapper was bad! We couldn’t eat it

Today I bought a mullet fish from Seafood Market. I asked if the fish is fresh and has been assured that it is. My wife fried it, and the fish smelled as it was soaked in the bleach. The smell of chlorine is very unpleasant. We had to dispose everything that left after we tasted it. Very disappointed.

We’re regulars and love this place. We’ve never, ever had any issues with the sea food and have been customers for over 5 years.

Very fresh fish... Blue ocean fish market is not posted anywhere you just have to go into the main market and pay separately in the back for the fish.. came from out of town and was very pleasantly surprised to find this as opposed to the cookie cutter supermarket farmed fish
