Made the mistake of getting the chili dog at another place in Middlesex today. It was OK but cost me $7.25 for one dog! Middlesex Texas Weiners are the best! The food is great, the people are nice, and the value is good. I always get 2 dogs, fries, and a soda, but usually only eat one dog so I have a nice snack later. I just read a really nit picking review about here and can only say that the reviewer needs to get a life. Been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes come here twice a day, for breakfast and then Chili Dogs for lunch or dinner. And with Summer coming the parking lot car show will start up and the good times will roll again! ?

I have been a customer at Middlesex Texas Weiner since the early '90s, and it pains me to share that my recent experiences have been less than satisfactory. I believe that with a few adjustments, this place could regain its former charm and appeal to the growing community in this part of NJ.Service:In the past, I remember being warmly greeted upon entering. However, lately, it seems the greeting has been replaced with a more transactional approach. A friendly greeting and small talk go a long way in making customers feel valued.Atmosphere:The appearance of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The locked side door and the overall outdated look create an unwelcoming atmosphere.Food:The quality of the food has noticeably declined. The burger patty seems smaller and lacks flavor. The buns appear old, and the fries were served cold and undercooked.Considering the potential customer base in this area, especially with the ongoing construction, I believe implementing the following changes could help MTW reclaim its position as a go-to spot for food enthusiasts:Update the restaurant's appearance to create a more inviting atmosphere.Provide staff training on proper guest greetings and encourage friendly small talk.Invest in retraining the kitchen staff to enhance the quality of the meals.I am committed to supporting local small mom & pop businesses like MTW, but I believe that for the price paid, customers deserve a better overall experience (considering current inflation prices). I hope you take this feedback into consideration and work towards restoring Middlesex Texas Weiner to its former glory.

We get our burgers and hot dogs (mustand and kraut) or chili dogs with onions and mustard and they are big hot dogs with a crunch -- just like the Texas Weiners that used to be on Rt. 22 in Greenbrook that closed up! They are Very Very good! The people at the counter are very nice as well as the cooks/chefs behind them. The whole visit was just wonderful. We also just had their club sandwich also VG, and they make the best split pea soup for lunch!

Came here for the first time after passing it by probably hundreds of times over the past few years. We were there about 6:30pm. My wife had a frankfurter and I had a burger deluxe. The frankfurter was very good and the burger was on par with what you would expect from your local diner. Food was reasonably priced for what you got and came out quickly. Workers were very nice. If you don’t have time for a traditional sit down meal where you’ll be for over an hour but want something considerably better than a fast food chain, I recommend it here. We will be back.
