L&D Sapore Ravioli & Cheese

I’m visiting family in the area & after leaving the gym, I did a google search & this popped up. I read thru the reviews & decided to give it a try. I ordered “The Dom” & omggg, watching the gentleman make it, I was flabbergasted
seeing the mountain of meats & cheese. This is no ordinary subway type of sandwich. Before writing this review, I had to try it & it did not disappoint…AT ALL!!! (Macaroni salad was good too) The only downside would be I can’t share it w/my family member b/c her teeth are not good & although I liked the crispiness of the bread, I should have asked for a softer roll. I’m not complaining though, it was perfect for me! I’d say I’ll be back tomorrow to try something else but I’ll be eating this for the next couple days. 😁

The staff all worked together, helping each other out which was nice to see. The new lady who initially took my order…super sweet! Best of luck to u all & thanks for making my 1st time experience a memorable one!

Best sauce around

Never a bad sandwich, only amazing sandwiches. Genuine old school vibe, I love that I can feel that this place is older than me. Great staff as well, always happy to help and are always in a good mood despite how busy it usually is. When I think of what an example Italian-American deli is, I think Sapore.

i’ve been to many italian delis and L&D Sapore shines the brightest among them all. i’ve recently moved to the area and it’s such a blessing that it is so close enough for me to be able to regular. the staff never skimps on anything and they never fail to satisfy my appetite! the subs really live up to their name as they are massive like an actual submarine. everything i have ordered has exceeded my expectations and left me wanting more; my favorites in particular are the godfather, dom and the randy

This was the BEST, kindest, and friendliest Italian market I have ever been to. I grew up in an Italian family, where we treated everyone like our own, and that is exactly what just happened when I walked in. I am taken aback truly. Such a great place and great food!

Best presut and motz sandwich

Have used this place several times for catering orders and we are always very happy. Everyone raves about their antipasto platters! We recently ordered a large tray of penne in vodka sauce with chicken added in (they were very good about customizing the food, and the chicken was delicious in the pasta), a small antipasto and a few loaves of their homemade Italian bread. Everything was delicious, the trays were overflowing with food… could have fed way more than it promised. We will continue to use them in the future!

But actually the best deli around.

The absolute best raviolis I’ve ever had! Both their marinara sauce and vodka sauce are to die for! I also love that their colorful holiday ravioli (hearts, Easter eggs) are made with natural ingredients like tomato paste instead of food dyes. This multi-generational family owned shop is one of NJ’s best spots for Italian food.

The best cheese steaks! Around hands down cookies fresh mozzarella chicken fire home made sauces ravioli 🥴🥰🥰🥰🫶

This place makes insanely good sandwiches. Everything I have had there is great but my go to is the hot Italian sub. This spot provides great value for your dollar. Super high quality sandwiches/subs which one could feed a small family with.
