When I have a craving for a Sabrett, this is my go to place. It helps it is only 2 towns away so it is very convenient. I’ve only gotten the hot dogs here so I can’t comment on anything else, but I really enjoy a couple dogs with mustard and red onions.Their dogs have always been good with the typical snap. The rolls are fresh and the red onions plentiful. I enjoy these toppings so much that I haven’t tried the many others they have on the list, but I’m sure they are good.Is the weather is nice they have picnic tables or is it’s cold/rainy you can eat in your car right outside and’s listen to music or a podcast.

The Hot Dogs are great, the service is excellent and the location being a caboose on the tracks is excellent!! I highly recommend this location!

The Hot Dog Caboose is amazing. They have a variety of dogs that are delicious and flavorful and the owner Carol is a real sweetheart! I was lucky enough to talk with Carol and found out she also has a 7line dog that will blow your mind. If you're in the area and want a great dog, I would 1000% recommend stopping here for lunch.

Came for the unusual atmosphere of enjoying a hotdog ? from an old PRR Caboose and was not disappointed. The Sabrett dogs are so good, love the snap as you bite into one. My husband and I got our typical order to try. Saurkraut and mustard a top a delicious bun soft and tender. He also got a Texas Frito dog which was chili, onions and crushed Fritos corn chips tasted exactly like what we thought. The day was brisk and our hotdogs were satisfying although it would have been nice to have them hotter, the weather cooled them off too quickly. We will try again another day. Yes, it was good and priced well. The drinks selection was terrific too. I got a Boylan Birch beer, yum!

While eateries with edifices consisting of converted train cars are not a unique idea (There was a similar hot dog place in Passaic a few years ago; the caboose still stands at its location at River Road next to the Gregory Avenue bridge, but it's now a used car dealership), Hot Dog Caboose has its own unique charm. It is foremost, a standout structure in the area, an actual caboose car being located within the site of the former Wortendyke Train Station in Midland Park, thus making it quite apropos for its site.It is an extremely popular eatery in the area, with lots of locals, bus and truck drivers, and even people from miles away stopping by for a bite. And why not? Firstly, the hot dogs are Sabrett's, a top brand. Their sides, particularly the spuds, are a great complimentary dish, the prices are very reasonable and the service is among the best I have encountered. Even though this place is ADA compliant, the manager took a little time to bring out a meal to a wheelchair bound customer. Kudos to this establishment. Seating here is just a few umbrellaed tables, but in case of overflow, there are a few benches nearby for consuming your meal.Vegetarian options: Fries, onion rings, baked beans, coleslaw, spuds, vegetarian chiliDietary restrictions: None postedParking: Small lot but always plenty of roomKid-friendliness: Kids love this place. Friendly smiling service. Kids love the sights around the cabooseAnd the caboose itselfWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant ramp to get up to window level. Table service will gladly be given upon request.

Cute, fun hotdog stand. The guy serving was super nice. I just wasn't impressed with these hotdogs. They were very small for the price and the relish looked so artificial like it was colored with green food dye that you use for St. Patrick's Day. Flavor over all was just ok.

As soon as I heard the microwave door open I knew wasn't going to be good. Dogs are nothing special. The worst was the fries $4 for barely any and tasted awful. 1st and last time here for a $hitty $17 lunch

Sabretts on a pretzel bun...what could be better. Located by a cute little sitting park and in an actual caboose. Go! I have had basics on my dogs, but they have great inventive toppings. Fried yummies and Yoo-hoo

Great hot dogs. The styles are different from other hot dog places I've been to. But this is unique ?
