Had a few folks recommend Off the Hook for the freshest seafood in Bergen County and today we stopped by. It's a little off the beaten path and we kind of blindsided them showing up (they're mostly a wholesale operation), but I told him I was looking for scallops and fresh oysters and he had options! They were extremely accommodating and super nice. Food was excellent. I had the Blackened Grouper sandwich which had just the right amount of spices and was cooked perfectly. My wife has the Chicken bruschetta sandwich and it was also cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. Unfortunately on the day we went the weather was a little cold, so we had to eat inside. It looks like it would be a great place to sit out on the patio.
