I cannot say enough good things about Skazka Cakes! They made the most beautiful, delicious, and GLUTEN-FREE strawberry shortcake Peppa Pig cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. Everyone loved it and the non-gluten free people didn't even know the difference! They also made scrumptious cupcakes that were so adorable and perfect for the Three-I-E-I-O Barnyard/Farm party theme. THANK YOU, SKAZKA CAKES! You're the best and we will definitely be back. <3

Skazka Cakes is our family's favorite bakery! Tatiana created exquisitely crafted and absolutely delicious cakes for our special occasions. The staff is friendly and caring. They are always happy to answer any questions we have about our customized orders. They also deliver! Not only are Skazka Cakes' creations beautiful and tasty, but they are also reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

I feel so sad to write it down, but we don’t like the cake at all. It was a customized strawberry short cake for my daughter’s birthday. I can’t complain about the design because it was as expected. But for $145 the cake is too small and not tasty. It mostly biscuit and a little bit of Strawberry mousse cream. The cream is pretty average and contains only a little bit of fresh strawberries. For this amount of money they better provide more quality ingredients. The outer cream is too heavy to eat, so it went to a garbage. Also, it is impossible task to cut this cake without it crumbling. After you cut it your hands are oily and messy. Definitely not for the restaurant celebration. Overall, I just feel sad that I paid so much hard earned money and 80% of the cake is not edible for us.

Absolutely wonderful. The shop is impeccably clean and the cookies and cakes are all presented in an eye catching and easy to view manner. I tried an assortment of items--rainbow cookies (in my opinion, best I've had in the area), two individual cakes (pumpkin/carrot--both delicious), a "Kiev cake" which was absolutely awesome and not finish-able in one sitting despite my efforts :), and a specialty cupcake with tons of chocolate and an Oreo on top. Really just delicious all around. The staff were so friendly and so was the owner!

I ordered a naked vanilla cake layered with strawberry mousse for my daughter's baby shower.I wanted a very simple cake with a few flowers. I got what I ordered. It was delicious and very light and enjoyed by my guests.

I wish I could share more than 5 stars. I placed an order for a cake for a bridal shower. From the initial discussion, to changes I made along the way, to pick up,to serving to guests…. Everything was amazing. The guests not only commented on the beauty, intricacy and detailing but the taste. The cake was absolutely delicious. So fresh, and not too sweet. I won’t hesitate to order again and will recommend to everyone. Thank you for making the day extra special and for your talent and kindness.

When I first came to this cake shop I was expecting my cake to be festive and creative. This is what I got. Just a bunch of stars placed on a cake for $350.00. They gave my cake order to an intern who just finished a culinary program. Compared to their beautiful, festive, gorgeous cakes they have I got the end of the stick. Not only did I place my cake order 2 months in advance because my sons birthday falls on Memorial Day weekend, I expected them to have more than enough time to be CREATIVE. I was absolutely WRONG. I called and told them I wasn’t happy and the owner told me why didn’t I mentioned anything because they were 7 people walking in and I was told I needed to pick up the cake the day before the actual day of the “Birthday”. What else were they going to do when the BIRTHDAY IS THE NEXT DAY?? There is 25 people coming where am I going to get a cake that I gave a 2 Month Span to?? Unprofessional, lack of hearing when specifically telling them I wanted something creative. This is not what I expected from a 5 star bakery which I took time out to search for. The owner’s EGO was hurt when I told him I wasn’t happy, that this was very simple and no imagination went into this. So beware your cake order can fall in the hands of an intern getting some stars slapped on. Unsatisfied, a kid from a Bergen tech can do a better job. Awful.
What an amazing cake!! My daughter asked for something so detailed and specific and they truly delivered! Not only was it beautifully detailed and designed but it was delicious. We’re a family full of picky eaters and people really did enjoy it!

Where I should start!!!!! Customer service was exceptional!!! Talk with them a few times to figure out prices and designs, always polite in a really happy mood tried to help me! The artist -Tatiana was really polite and did an amazing cake for me!! I was impressed when I saw the cake was really identical to the picture I sent them! The cake delivery was home earlier than scheduled!!!! Amazing amazing amazing I couldn't recommend enough this place!

I bought the cake and it was bad. Nobody in the party finished their pieces. It went to garbage. I said to the store manager that the problem was with the amount of sugar. Apparently food can be overly salted but a cake can not be overly sugared. So I was blamed for a poor choice of a cake on my side. I do understand what kind of a cake I bought and consulted with the person at the counter about flavors. Here is the thing: I believe one or two people might not like the cake but when four people say it is not good - it is a different story. Interestingly that store management eagerly shifted the blame on me.
