Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. I highly recommend this business.
The place is adorable! The owner Michelle was there and she was so friendly. We chatted about our love for Disney. I got the pistachio ganache and my friend got the cookies and cream cake pop. We both agreed that they were very very good! We were hoping to sit and enjoy our snack but they only had a small kids table.
My sister and I are huge Disney people and we had been wanting to go to Wish Upon a Pastry since we saw it on TikTok and it did not disappoint! So many wonderful treats and a great selection for those who are gluten free, dairy free, vegan, or who have any restrictions! Looking forward to going back and trying different treats as the seasons change.

The cake I ordered came out exactly how I wanted it to and tasted amazing! Their cake pops and bread pudding were also delicious. As a Disney lover I throughly enjoyed seeing all their Disney inspired cookies and loved seeing their pin board where I can trade my pins just like in Disney! Would highly recommend this bakery.

If I could give more stars I would! Found out about this amazing pastry shop on Instagram when it popped up in my feed. Since I'm a Disney fanatic since the early 70's lol I had to go check it out.
I bought three cookies, two macarons, a Mickey Rice Krispie treat and a Mickey chocolate covered marshmallow....they also have candles that have park scents and ice cream which I'm definitely buying next time I go which will most likely be next week lol.
So the first thing I tried was a macaron. I'll first say I'm not normally a fan of macarons. The few places I've gotten them from (including in the France Pavilion in Epcot) they've always been really dry and I've always wondered why do people like these so much? Lol. I normally wouldn't have bought any but they have a POG juice flavor one and I had to try it (also got a Grey Stuff one). Let me tell you....finally! These were great! Not dry at all! Great flavor and texture. Definitely didn't fall apart in my hand as I tried to eat it! I'll definitely get more next time but honestly will probably stick to not buying macarons anywhere else. Lol.
Next up I tried the cookies. So a lot of times cookies that are frosted/decorated like this don't taste great. That's been my experience anyway. Omg. Not at all the case with these!! They have great flavor, again not dry and crumbly and they're not sugary sweet either, just sweet enough.
The Rice Krispie treat and the chocolate covered marshmallow were both yummy as well but the stand outs of what I got were the macaroons and the cookies! Those cookies! I'm trying to ration out the three I bought so I don't have all three eaten before I go back!
The owners were really friendly too and answered any questions I had and also told me everything was handmade by them (even the candles!)
I drove 30 mins to get there and it was totally worth it. I know they do custom cakes as well which look fantastic from what I've seen. You can also order from their website. Go get your cookies!!! You won't be disappointed! You might even get addicted like me! Lol.
When you can't get to the parks this is the perfect substitute to hold you over. I actually was supposed to be in WDW for my bday but had to cancel the trip so I went to Wish Upon a Pastry because I thought I deserved some treats on my birthday lol.

A little pricy, but worth every penny!!
These were probably the best cookies I have ever had. They weren't so sweet they made you sick, but they were sooo delicious!!!!!!!!
We thought all the cookies were going to be the same, but instead they went with a variety that encompassed the theme/movie. Definitely look forward to getting more cookies from them.

Wow. This place is a gem. I came in here because it was highly recommended and I needed to bring a small dessert to a dinner party. The owners, Michelle and Torre, had the perfect recommendations. Everything in this place looks absolutely perfect and delicious. Michelle and Torre are so friendly and accommodating. So far, I have only tried the ganache and the ice cream and I can't wait to come back and try more!

Found this place through social media. You can truly feel the magic when you’re in here. Disney treats and pin trading all in one! The owner noticed my husbands star wars shirt and offered us a darth Vader cookie which was delicious! Such kind people! Cannot wait to go back for another treat!

A taste of Disney! As huge Disney lovers and park goers, this place makes you feel like you’re getting a full parks experience right in your own neighborhood. To rope drop openings, pin trading and (my favorite) famous park treats, Wish Upon a Pastry did not disappoint. My kids loved their cookies and the grey stuff is in fact delicious! I’m sure we’ll be making many visits back between our park visits so we can get our Disney fix. Thank you for bringing some of the magic home ?
Kid-friendliness: After my kids picked out their cookies there was a little table and toy for them to play with while the adult painstakingly decided on their own treats.
