“Omg I’m in love with the @countrystore454 . They are notorious for breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing no one spoke till the last bite. I had the worlds best Chicken Gyro 🥙. Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece 🇬🇷. The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries.The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. The staff was fast and very friendly. This place is a true hidden gem 💎 literally the bellybutton of NJ surrounded by beautiful farms and trees very picturesque. “Sol is one of those rare neighborhood restaurants that really brings a community together. Good food, excellent vibes, and wonderful care and service from the owners and staff is reflected in the many smiling faces I see here every morning, evening, and on the weekends when I pass by.

I finally got the chance to stop in for a proper meal (normally I grab a reasonably priced breakfast sandwich and a coffee here while I'm running for the bus) and I was delighted with my experience. The Sol Breakfast Platter hit the spot with a bold, hot cup of coffee! The music and general vibrancy of the room added to my pleasure of the experience. I look forward to coming back again with my wife in the near future to try out more of the delicious sounding items on the menu!

Parking: Free street parking on Livingston Ave or Stevens Street, but in a tight neighborhood

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is very family friendly. I often see full families enjoying meals together.

The employees are awesome, the portions are perfect for lunch, and prices are right in line with what I would expect. My kids love grabbing snacks and picking one of the dozens of different drink options.

“This is a great little spot in the heart of a great little town. The owner is a delightful woman who greets both old customers and new ones with the same welcoming smile and "can I help you?" The cafe/deli is open for breakfast, lunch and take-out. I have been there twice --- both times for breakfast that included a delicious egg sandwich and fresh coffee (see photo). You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Coffee is self service. The Cafe has a fresh, clean and bright interior (photo). I will be back.“

“Absolutely phenomenal hoagies, very possibly the best Italian hoagie I have EVER had, and I’ve had them from hundreds of places from New York to South Carolina, it’s my favorite food lol. Their Deli selection is top tier! They have cheeses I’ve never even heard of before, lol they all looked so good!They have Walnut Creek pepperoni cheese for $5 a pound!!!!! What a STEAL!
