Disclaimer: This review pertains only to the weekend afternoon vegetarian lunch buffet.Although the number of total items served in the buffet was same as what their competitors offer, the vegetarian options were limited. Specifically, there was just one vegetarian appetizer (spring rolls). When questioned, one of the team members mentioned idly/vada/sambar which ARE NOT appetizers. You can get away with such arguments with non-Indians but not Indians who know their own cuisine.Vegetarian entrees were average. The naan was dry and unappetizing. They did not even continuously refill many items even after several requests (masala tea, naan). The Chozhas management team doesn't know what a buffet is supposed to be.The dessert selection and taste were good.Cleanliness of dishes was severely lacking. I found several plates and spoons visibly dirty.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options in the weekend lunch buffer especially when you consider the price.

We were greeted immediately and warmly upon walking in, given our table and provided menus and water. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and available - we didn't wait or have to seek her attention. We ordered samosas for appetizers which were fresh, hot, crispy and fragrant. The accompanying sauces were delicious and each had a pleasant and varied flavor profile to add to the dish. For dinner we had the Lamb Saag, Paneer Tikka, Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha. The paneer was firm and flavorful, bright and exciting. The lamb was delicious and tender, with the depth of flavor and warmth of the spices and freshness of the spinach used for the sauce. Accompanying The lamb was a bowl of traditional basmati rice, cooked perfectly. Not hard and underdone, not soft and mushy, as perfect as rice should be, and was a great carrier for the sauce from the Lamb Saag. The breads were fresh, warm, and delicious both on their own, and eaten with the entrees and sauce. For dessert we enjoyed both traditional dishes, Gulab Jamun and Rasamalai. The Gulab Jamun was warm and intensely sweet in the best way. I can liken it to fried zeppole or doughnut holes, soaked in a lightly caramelized sugar syrup. The Rasamalai reminds me of a cross of tres leches and flan. Creamy and lightly sweet, and a great finish to the meal. Everything came out with great speed, but not rushed. We had plenty time to finish each course before the next came. With the option to select your preferred level of spice, this restaurant offers a great experience to the novice, experienced, and immersed diners.

This restaurant is so good! If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is your place! From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, all fantastic! For some of their dishes, they offer the spice intensity, so you don't have to have things too spicy or too mild. If you're in the area, stop into the Chozahs!

Usually excellent … ordered Chicken 65 and other dishes on Door Dash today and the chicken 65 was left over crumbs , refried , dark black and just bad . Not something i was expecting ….infact the biryani and goat was also bad … maybe a new chef or new management …. I will not go back here

After my fiancé raved about the Tandoori chicken takeout one night, we decided to give the sit down a try. This was my first time here.To start, the food was outstanding. They were beyond accommodating to us, especially given the fact my fiancé has a food allergy. They introduced us to Fryums as an appetizer/pre dinner snack and tapioca dessert (which I unfortunately forgot the name of). I had the Chana Saag with Garlic Naan and my fiancé had the Tandoori Chicken (again)- every bit of it was phenomenal. The ambiance was warm and inviting with incredible service to match. The service alone was outstanding- everyone was friendly, accommodating, and willing to indulge us when we asked about the cuisine. In short- we had an amazing experience here and we can’t wait to come back soon!

Disappointing experience; given the name and what it stands for, food was poor quality- mutton sukka only had fat, all the curries tasted the same- onion tomato mixture, with maybe one spice different in each. Medium spice level was bland and flavorless. Catering to all the non desi crowd. Never again. The gulab jamuns and rasmalai were good. Dirty restrooms, garbage bins overflowing, toilets a mess. Sad place.

Chef needs to focus on biryani making and consistency. If biryani is failure for the day, It's equal to main course failure.
