My wife and I have dined in and taken out. Both times the food and service was incredible. When we dined in the staff were kind enough to give us an appetizer on the house (mexitotz are highly recommended). Definitely not just a taco spot, their entrees are also excellent!

Place used to be good, but pricey. Now they increased their prices and made the selections WORSE. No toppings anymore. Very bland and overpriced. $16 for mediocre tacos.Also, the no-peek coupons they gave do NOT say for eat-in only. Very misleading. Not coming back. Plenty of better options in the area.

The menu was limited. Some of the chicken dishes had thighs not Breast. The service was fair at best, very pleasant but did not have a handle what was going on. They seemed overwhelmed. Restaurant was café like and bright

The food initially served to us was not what either of us ordered. They corrected it, but it was a long wait. We were provided with a complimentary order of chips and guacamole, which gesture was appreciated.

Nice little place attempting to pull off an artisan (Mexican) culinary experience in a dated strip-mall that's off the beaten path. I think a place like this would benefit the most from a location with more transient foot traffic. The menu is limited but thoughtful. The burrito was dry on the inside but flavorful. The smothered chicken had great potential; The all dark meat offering was a deal-killer and it looked as if there was no white meat on the menu. We haven't ruled out another visit but I'm not rushing back.
It was my first timing coming to Z Taco and I was definitely impressed by the food and the service. The owner is very nice and the food is great. This restaurant is new but the company has some other restaurants around New Jersey so they’re kinda established. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already for some great Mexican food!

We had the Al Pastor and Quesabirria tacos. Both were cooked to perfection and the taste was authentic Mexican. The portions are very generous. Try the Arroz con leche for dessert! It comes warm in a bowl sprinkled with cinnamon. Delicious end to the meal!
