I have a large family of 5 boys and 2 girls so always hard to get reservations. Dusal’s has always accommodated us. My kids are super picky and used to homemade meals. The chef always checks to make sure they are happy with their meal. The owners absolutely put their heart into this restaurant and are willing to go above and beyond when it comes to the food and service. I recommend Dusal’s for dinner and family get togethers.

Went back tonight, 8 of us this time, and food once again was superb! Found out that new ownership took over two months ago, and they are doing a GREAT job! Appys were great, the calamari was perfect but those two sauces (sweet and hot) were magnifico! Mixed salads were fresh, and entrees wonderful! Veal parm, veal with spinach and sundried tomatoes, chicken marsala, ravioli, linguine casanova with shrimp, broccoli rabe and tomatoes, chicken Francais, and the most glorious rigatoni with shrimp, peas, in a light cream sauce. Oh my! This place! And thank you Cheryl for the friendly service, and owner Brian for spending time chatting with us! (And to be clear, this place is in MILLTOWN/Ryders Lane - not to be confused with others of the same name.)

For those of us who thought/said Dusal's of Milltown was going down hill, there is GOOD NEWS. Under new ownership, Greg & Bryan, remind me of how the previous owners were, they care about the quality of food and how the patrons like it. They have kept many of our favorites & have added new things to the menu. Same kitchen staff & Diego is still making the pies (Juan is there on Monday's). Owners are on site, no longer snarky managers. Dining Room is Open Again. Still love their veal marsala, tuscan quesadilla & shrimp parm. Give Dusal's another try

Had Chicken parm it was one of the best ones I had in a while chicken was crispy sauce tangy. My 6 year old had a personal pie and ate it all tasted it myself and was good.

Pizza was great!!! Calamari was crispy and well cooked. I ordered personal Margherita pizza and it was amazing. Even the plain Jane pizza was cheesy hot and good. Definitely recommend this place..

On time delivery. Took down a large cheese solo. Would recommend anyone who looking for a local pie to stop by.

I had an issue with my order, (via grubhub, I understand these things can happen) so I called the restaurant with the attempt to rectify the situation, and the individual on the phone was defensive and quick to hang-up on me. Ok, sure, everyone is entitled to having a bad day. However, the food was awful. The texture of the chicken parm was questionable. The pizza was smothered in old cheese, stale dough, and dressed in low quality tomato sauce.

My all time favorite pizza place in NJ! Both delivery and take-out are great here. Our favorites are the Margherita pizza, garlic bread with cheese, and the penne a la vodka. If you dine-in their regular hot bread at the table is also so good! Really appreciate that they have a few different locations in NJ, so happy to continue supporting them.

Great pizza, especially the grandma. Hot sandwiches, house salad, and entrees are very good too!

What happened to this place? Limited selection on slices and whatever is there you can tell it has been sitting there for awhile. Never any white slices available. And as another reviewer mentioned, it seems as though they don't even care. I think they may be going out of business. Too bad. They used to be a great place.

Oh my gosh!!! Yummy food, sweet service, and a place to sit! Not only that, but they have gluten free crusts too!! Definitely going to come here again OR order from home!

YOU STILL GOT IT, BABY!!! My favorite restaurant growing up in NJ, over 17 years later, is exactly as amazing as I remembered. The best shrimp parmigiana in the world. Seriously. I had the same exact meal I used to eat...salad with French dressing, shrimp parm with a side of ziti covered in delicious marinara, and that hot, crispy crust, soft inside Italian bread. I love you Dusal's. Is the chef single?

The worst Italian food we ever had. No seriously, the only thing edible was the free bread. We ordered chicken Franceses and penne vodka sauce with chicken and it literally went in the garbage. The chicken in the pasta pictured below looked like week old chicken paired with week old penne complete with water on the bottom of the tray. The personal pizza we ordered ended up being bread with cheese as the cheese slid down the box and completely off the pizza. I was so upset with the food that I'm placing a personal call to the restaurant to complain and got my money back on DoorDash. Stay away

DUSAL'S MILLTOWN HAS HIT ROCK BOTTOM... I remember a time not long ago when Dusal's Milltown was the place to go for any Italian entrees /pizza / etc... They have gone so downhill, that I'm absolutely never going to eat there again, dine-in or delivery... I think that they have a separate person who doesn't know how to COOK, making all of the delivery food... ( or at least doesn't give a s*** )...Because when I've eaten in, it's a completely different ballgame... It's been going further and further downhill in this past year since Covid struck. When all other businesses are going out of their way to give it their best, to stay in business... Dusal's Milltown, doesn't seem to be that concerned... The large pie might be large to a four year old, but it looks like a small, dine-in pie to me... The pies have been continually burned on the bottom, doughey and undercooked, and soupy when they arrive... I ordered ham and cappicola sub last week, and it looked like whoever prepared the sandwich, cut the meat with a chainsaw... It was thick as a tongue... And the vegetables were not even cut... they threw like a half a tomato on top of the sandwich... It was a disaster, I called to complain for the first time ever... Got profuse apologies... And then today I ordered a large pie, and some garlic bread... The pie was atrocious, and the garlic bread was severely burned, and they just sent it out anyway... take a look at the picture! We order from here all the time, and I am a very gracious tipper when it comes to the delivery people... Alas, they're not gonna be receiving any more business from me. Looks like Maria's Pizza in Milltown has reluctantly gained two new patrons... Get your s*** together, guys! We keep the lights on... Show a little appreciation by making food that's edible...
