This was my first time ordering and I decided to ignore the negative reviews. I had my order delivered and I didn't have to wait long. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was delicious. I ordered a small chicken and broccoli and garlic sauce and the size was perfect the sauce was good there was plenty of sauce. The broccoli was fresh and crunchy and the chicken was good. I also ordered the crab rangoon they were large they were crispy not overcooked and had a good amount of filling in them. They weren't the little small pinched at the top kind that some of the other restaurants have. The prices were good and I have to say I will be ordering again. Sometimes it doesn't hurt try a restaurant out and disregard the reviews so you can form your own opinion.

Local American Chinese. The inside of the location is dingy and filthy. The food is the only reason I continue to go back, and honestly its a debate. Really very dirty. Concerning for your safety level dirty. But the food is always fantastic. Employees mostly just stare at you when you go inside to order your food.

I ordered takeout from here, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food arrived hot and fresh, with all the flavors you'd expect from a top-notch Chinese restaurant. The portions were generous, and everything was packaged neatly to avoid spills. I especially loved the dumplings.The ordering process was smooth, and the delivery was right on time. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommend!

You can not understand what they are saying. They do not speak good English. Food is not good! They told me that I could have brown rice instead of white rice but didn't tell there was extra charge. Ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and got almost all broccoli.
Unfortunately, this place has taken over the phone of China One that recently closed (unbeknownst to me). First, the food here at Hunan Wok is nowhere near as good as China One. Second, they are so disorganized. I called in my order at 5:08 and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. After driving to China One, seeing the sign on the door to go to Hunan Wok, I still had to wait for my order to be ready. I finally left there at 6pm. They have no way to identify what order you are there to pick up, except to ask what you ordered. I was asked 4 times! And when she brought out a bagged order and read off what was in it and I said it was mine, she acted like I just won the lottery or something. VERY sorry to see China One go out of business. Hunan Wok is NOT a very good replacement, nor a good place to go period.

I recently ordered two steamed chicken and broccoli from this establishment, hoping for a healthy and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. I was shocked to find that the portion of chicken was only 5 ounces, which felt significantly smaller than expected, especially considering the price.
However, what truly ruined my meal was the discovery of a maggot on the broccoli. This was not only disgusting but also deeply concerning in terms of hygiene and food safety. Needless to say, I immediately disposed of the contaminated broccoli and lost my appetite entirely.
The lack of quality control and attention to detail in the food preparation process is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this experience and will not be ordering from this establishment again. I strongly advise others to reconsider dining here until they address these serious issues.
